Thursday 31st October – Half Term Autumn Explorers

Parents will learn how to help their child develop Literacy, Maths and other skills through making crafts with natural materials. Thursday 31st October – Half Term Story Sacks

In this 2-hour workshop you and your child/ren will create a story sack and make some resources, such as puppets, to go in it. Mondays, starting 4th November – Paper Crafting: Celebrations

Using simple to obtain materials, discover how to create a range of small, simple projects. If materials can be sourced these will include a treat pocket, memory book, hanging decoration, exploding card and small gift box. This is an intermediate level course which will help you improve your skills and give you confidence in using Microsoft PowerPoint. This course is for people who are competent in using the basic PowerPoint skills and now want to learn more features and functions to further improve and develop these skills. Tuesday 5th November – First Steps to Excel

This workshop will introduce you to the basics of MS Excel. This course is for complete beginners to MS Excel. A basic level of conversational and written English is needed to complete this course. Tuesday 5th November – Macrame with numbers

Macrame is the technique of using different knots to craft an item. It does not require any special tools or equipment and is an accessible and relaxing route into making your own crafts. Thursday 7th November – AI in the Workplace

This online workshop will look at how Generative AI can be used to increase efficiency, creativity and remove some of the stresses of repetitive admin tasks, allowing learners to be their most productive and capable selves. It will be a thorough Introduction into the area of Generative AI but in a more professional context. Improve your own levels of confidence by exploring where confidence comes from and by identifying the behaviour and characteristics of confident people. Monday 18th November – Watercolour Christmas Cards Workshop

This gorgeous workshop will get you in the festive spirit. Together you will create some fun and festive watercolour Christmas Cards. Tuesday 19th November – Crafting in Clay with numbers

This workshop will explore some simple mathematical concepts through the calming medium of clay modelling. Monday 25th November – Christmas Bauble Needle Felting Workshop

This is an ideal workshop for beginners to needle felting or those wanting to gain a little more confidence in working with wool.  You will learn how to cover a polystyrene foundation and then learn how to create, shape and attach additions to give your bauble personality and character.
