Tuesday 7th May – Crochet with Numbers

Learn to crochet with our fun and interactive workshop. This course will help you to brush up on your number skills whilst creating a festive item. Monday 13th May – First Steps in Crochet

This two hour online workshop will show you how to take the first steps in crochet and the session will cover how to create a sliding knot, your first chain stitch and if time permits a double crochet stitch. This course is aimed towards people who have never crocheted but wanted to give it a go. Monday 13th May from 1pm – 3pm. Monday 20th May – Bosnian Crochet

This two hour online workshop will show you how to create a simple slip stitch form of crochet to create lovely textured ‘fabrics.’ Also known as Muslim Crochet, Old World Crochet, Pjoning and Shepherd’s Knitting it is believed that this is one of the oldest forms of crochet in the world. Tuesday 21st May – First Aid for Babies

During this five week course you will be shown how to sew five different projects which contain a range of sewing techniques including fitting a zip, sewing darts and creating buttonholes. This course is aimed at those who have sewn in the past and feel they need a refresher. Thursdays, starting 6th June – Crochet For Intermediates (Building Skills)

There are five main areas that will be covered during this five week course. These will be corner to corner, creating horizontal lines and vertical rows (rib), bobbles, popcorn stitch, puff stitch, shell stitch, ripple stich and wave stitch. An online course which is aimed at complete beginners and those wishing to refresh their crochet and number skills. You will learn how to use crochet tools and create basic crochet stitches. It is also a way to help improve your number skills by counting out your stitches and chain links to make your first crochet pattern.
