Saturday 18th May – Sip and Paint

Join Sip and Paint classes and you will learn how to create and take home your very own masterpiece. They provide everything you need plus nibbles and a complimentary glass of bubbles. (Soft drink options available too). Classes will run with around 8-10 people per sitting. If you have a group of friends who would like to come together, they welcome a group booking. Monday 20th May – Bosnian Crochet

This two hour online workshop will show you how to create a simple slip stitch form of crochet to create lovely textured ‘fabrics.’ Also known as Muslim Crochet, Old World Crochet, Pjoning and Shepherd’s Knitting it is believed that this is one of the oldest forms of crochet in the world. Tuesday 21st May – First Aid for Babies

Baby and Child First Aid course with a trainer from award winning Daisy First Aid who will bring models so you can have a go at CPR etc. Numbers will be limited to give you plenty of chance to ask questions in this three hour session. This five week online course is aimed at those who wish to discover effective methods for writing fiction. During the sessions they will explore a range of simple techniques to help inspire you and create well-constructed stories with interesting characters. For people who want to learn the basics of storytelling or explore techniques to expand on existing fiction writing skills. This five week online course is aimed at beginners and those wishing to refresh their crochet skills. This five week online will boost the quality of your professional and social presentations by looking at ways to engage your audience using speech structure, intonation and good body language.  Improve the quality of your public speaking and in turn boost your confidence. Thursdays, starting 6th June – Sewing For Intermediates: Building Skills

During this five week course you will be shown how to sew five different projects which contain a range of sewing techniques including fitting a zip, sewing darts and creating buttonholes. This course is aimed at those who have sewn in the past and feel they need a refresher. Thursdays, starting 6th June – Crochet For Intermediates (Building Skills)

There are five main areas that will be covered during this five week course. These will be corner to corner, creating horizontal lines and vertical rows (rib), bobbles, popcorn stitch, puff stitch, shell stitch, ripple stich and wave stitch. This course is aimed towards people who can already do the basic stitches, but want to take their crochet skills a step further. Thursdays from 12.45pm – 2.45pm. This introductory five week online course is designed to give you a basic understanding and knowledge of key topics relating to mental health and well-being. Monday 10th June – Introduction to Crochet

An online course which is aimed at complete beginners and those wishing to refresh their crochet and number skills. You will learn how to use crochet tools and create basic crochet stitches. It is also a way to help improve your number skills by counting out your stitches and chain links to make your first crochet pattern.
