Monday 10th November – Craftea Morning

Join this craft group every Monday morning from 10am – 12 noon, a chance to meet other crafters and chat over a cup of tea or coffee. Everyone is welcome, just bring along your current craft project and join in. This is a great informal group where you can relax, enjoy good conversation and pick up a few hints and tips. Monday 10th November – Music24’s Singing Café

Music24’s Singing Cafés meet twice a month and are open to anyone who is looking for a way get out the house and have more social connections, especially older individuals or those who may be struggling to recover from a health problem and who may be at greater of risk of becoming isolated. Trained facilitators are also able to support individuals with dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, or who have had a stroke. Come along to The Club at Mill Green, Gypsy Lane, Welwyn Garden City, AL7 4TY. Fun, half hour sessions of songs and rhymes are perfect for helping your child to learn language skills and are a great opportunity for you to meet other families too. Thursday 13th November – Dickens’ A Christmas Carol

Olivier Award winner, Guy Masterson, former Artistic Director of Campus West (The Hawthorne Theatre) and veteran of many smash hit solo works, returns to Welwyn with his powerful, visceral and enchanting take on Dickens’ classic. Known for bringing multiple characters to vivid life, Masterson brings us Scrooge, Marley, the Fezziwigs, the Cratchits, Tiny Tim, in a riveting, performance that will dazzle, enchant, and linger long in the memory. Saturday 15th November – Christmas Art and Craft Fair

Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair on Saturday 15th November from 10am – 1pm. With stalls of wonderful local artisans and their highly giftable, hand crafted products, and a prize raffle. At Recover, Unit 19, Tewin Ct, Welwyn Garden City, AL7 1AU.


Saturday 15th November – Toddler Cafe

WGC Baby Playgroup are hosting an event on Saturday 15th November from 10am – 12 noon at the Quaker meeting house, Handside Lane, Welwyn Garden City, AL8 6SP. Free drop in and a great way to meet other parents.

Santa Claus is coming to Tewin Memorial Hall, Lower Green Road, Tewin, Welwyn, AL6 0JX. Saturday 29th November from 1pm – 4pm. Hot food, stalls, raffle and plenty of things for the children to do. Come and join the fun.


Saturday 29th November – Murder Mystery Evening

After the success of the last Murder Mystery in September, the actors of Organise Events Ltd will be joining The Waggoners, Brickwall Close, Ayot Green, Welwyn Garden City, AL6 9AA, once again for a night to remember. Dress to Impress: 1940s style, think detectives, dames, and dashing suspects. Vintage elegance encouraged. Enjoy a decadent 4-course game meat menu, each dish paired with carefully selected wines. Sunday 30th November – Welwyn Harmony Christmas Concert

Get Christmas started with Welwyn Harmony with special guests the Welwyn Thalians and Wicket Pitches Quartet. The Welwyn Thalians will be showcasing some tunes from their upcoming Christmas play. Wicked Pitches offer a selection of close harmony songs from Barbershop classics to Seasonal. Wednesday 3rd December – Lights of Love

The service will include music from local choirs, readings, and the lighting of the tree, which will last approximately one hour. You will be offered a warming drink and a mince pie, and you will be given a tea-light candle to light as you join together for a minute’s silence. Wednesday 18th February – Cartoon Circus Live

All the fun of the circus comes to Campus West, The Campus, Welwyn Garden City, AL8 6BX, on Wednesday 18th February at 1.30pm and 3.30pm, when the laughter-packed stage show Cartoon Circus Live combines the comedy of pantomime with the thrill of the circus. The one hour half term holiday family show features some of Britain’s funniest clowns, traditional slapstick comedy, illusions, the amazing girl in the spinning bottle, magic, a huge giant dancing bear, cartoon characters, an acrobatic human slinky, puppets, prizes and surprises. Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May – World Food Festival 

A mouth-watering weekend of global flavours, live entertainment, and family fun at the World Food Festival. Get ready to feast on incredible street food from some of the UK’s top traders, from sizzling Asian stir-fries to gourmet burgers, Caribbean spice to Mediterranean delights, sweet treats and more. Enjoy performances from fantastic local musicians, dancers and community acts bringing the party atmosphere all weekend long.
