Tuesday 15th September – Social Circuits

Tuesday 15th September – Charter Market
Ware Charter Market bringing together a selection of vendors and traders at this regular Tuesday Charter Market. Taking place at Tudor Square and surrounding streets every Tuesday from 10am – 4pm. Come and support small businesses, and experience the charm of our community.
Thursday 17th September – Maltings Stitch Café
Maltings Stitch Café is a fortnightly drop-in group for those seeking to stitch, make new friends and share ideas. Whether your style is embroidery or machine stitching, felting or tapestry, everyone is welcome to this friendly group. All levels are welcome too, whether you are a novice with a needle or an expert seamstress. You can bring your own projects to work on, whilst socialising in the Café, with a cuppa. This is a drop in session open to all, with no need to book. Thursdays fortnightly from 10am – 1pm, at Southern Maltings. Kibes Lane, Ware, SG12 7BS, next is 1st October.
Friday 18th September – Ware Country Market
Weekly Country Market with plenty of goods on offer from local bakers, producers and makers all under one roof. Fridays from 9am – 12 noon. At Leaside Church and Community Centre, High Street, Ware, SG12 9BT.
Saturday 19th September – Westmill Parkrun
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog or run. The event takes place at Three Lakes Campsite, Westmill Farm, Ware, SG12 0ES. Every week they grab a post parkrun coffee in the Three Lakes Restaurant. Saturdays from 9am, for further information click here
Saturday 19th September – Artisan Craft Fair
Folk and Bespoke prides itself as being different, they aim to be a unique shopping experience, a celebration of small independent businesses and time served craftspeople. Free entry, at Ware Drill Hall, 17 Amwell End, Ware, SG12 9HP, Saturday from 10am – 3pm.
Saturday 19th September – Coffee Morning and Volunteers Meeting
Join the Royal British Legion for a friendly coffee morning and volunteers meeting. A chance to meet others, enjoy a cuppa and find out more about getting involved with the Royal British Legion. Saturday 19th September – Ware Gamers
Whether you are a seasoned board game fan or simply looking to try something new, Ware Gamers is a friendly and welcoming space to play, meet new people and enjoy some friendly competition. Facilitated by Tabletop Realms, these free sessions will feature a great selection of popular games, including Pandemic, Ticket to Ride, Heat: Pedal to the Metal, Dominion, Horrified and Azul. Saturday 19th September – Casablanca Film Screening
A magical, one‑night‑only themed screening of Casablanca, the timeless classic brought to life with the sounds, style and spirit of the 1940s. To make the night even more special, you are invited to dress in 1940s attire, think elegant gowns, sharp suits, forces uniforms, vintage glamour and a touch of Hollywood noir. It is not compulsory, but it will make the evening truly unforgettable. As you arrive, you will step straight into Rick’s Café Americain, lovingly recreated in their bar with period décor, soft lamplight and the unmistakable atmosphere of wartime Casablanca. Sip a cocktail, soak up the ambience, and let the live music of the era transport you to a world of smoky jazz, romance and intrigue. Sunday 20th September – Little Traders Market
Little Traders Market is by kids for everyone. A fantastic market full of creativity, confidence and young talent. Come along and support some amazing local children aged 5–16 as they take over the tables and run their very own stalls. Expect handmade goodies, treats, arts and crafts, pre-loved bargains and lots more. At Leaside Church and Community Centre, High Street, Ware, SG12 9BT . Sunday 20th September from 1pm – 3pm.
Sunday 20th September – The Tudor Square Market
The Tudor Square Markets will be on the 3rd Sunday of the Month from 10am – 2pm. It will feature many of the regular stalls from the inside markets at Southern Maltings, together with some new stalls and street food too. Expect gorgeous locally made artisan food, drink and crafts from the best local makers and small independent producers and businesses, right on your doorstep in Ware. Not on in July, August or December.
Sunday 27th September – Table Top Sale
Whether you are hunting for a bargain, having a clear out, or just fancy a browse and a cuppa, come along to this table top sale every last Sunday of the month from 10am – 2pm. Sunday 27th September – Farmers and Craft Market
A magical pop-up event celebrating the best of Hertfordshire’s local makers, bakers and creators. Held at the picturesque Dane End Christmas Tree Farm, High View, Farm Green End Lane, Dane End, Ware, SG12 0FF. Expect a vibrant collection of artisan stalls featuring handmade crafts, seasonal produce, and unique gifts. Delicious treats from local bakers and food producers. Live music to set the spring mood and a cosy cafe on-site for hot drinks and homemade bites. Sunday 27th September from 10am – 3pm.
Sunday 27th September – Equine Table Top Sale and Dog Show
This event will be held indoors at Albury Village Hall, The Bourne, Albury, Ware SG11 2JD. Dog show classes on poster starting at 11.15am, the dog show is a bit of fun for all, rosettes 1st to 5th place. They will be raising money for Deer and wildlife in danger. Sunday 27th September – Jazz: Sam Chaplin 4tet
Singer/Trumpeter Sam Chaplin brings his engaging style to Southern Maltings, Kibes Lane, Ware, SG12 7BS, with the music of Ray Charles, Chet Baker and Nat King Cole along with his own songs. Friday 9th October – Ware Poets
Daljit Nagra is Professor of Creative Writing at Brunel University, Vice President of the Royal Society of Literature, Fellow of Society of Authors, a PBS New Generation Poet, presenter of the weekly Poetry Extra on Radio 4 Extra. Daljit Nagra, MBE, has published four poetry collections, all with Faber and Faber, which have won the Forward Prize for Best Individual Poem and Best First Book, the South Bank Show Decibel Award and the Cholmondeley Award, and been shortlisted for the Costa Prize and twice for the TS Eliot Prize. His latest collection indiom was a PBS Choice. Daljit Nagra’s visit is part of a Ware Poets collaboration with Presdales and Chauncy Schools. The first half of this event will be open mic, so please feel free to bring and read a poem in a friendly and welcoming space. Sunday 11th October – Tea Dance
Let the live sophisticated sound of Barry’s swing orchestra whisk you back in time, as you dance across the dance floor doing your favourite Jive, Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, quicksteps etc. Enjoy delicious homemade tea and cake, or a Pop Up bar beverage, whilst listening to the live performance. Saturday 24th October – Pop-Up Market
Bringing together talented local makers, bakers, artisan businesses and inspiring young entrepreneurs, you will discover a fantastic selection of handmade gifts, crafts and delicious produce, all under one roof. The Young Enterprise stallholders will also be competing to impress the judges, who will be looking at their products, stall presentation and customer engagement. Come along, support local talent and celebrate the creativity within the community. Whether you are young, young at heart, or simply looking for something unique, there is something for everyone. Sunday 25th October – Vintage and Retro Fair
This fair has established itself as a popular destination for vintage lovers. 50 dealers will be selling a range of items from vintage and retro fashion, jewellery, furniture, kitchenware, kitsch, art and collectables. There will be a vintage cafe serving lovely hand made cakes. Live music, DJ and more. Come and join this event in a historic venue in a historic market town.

Saturday 7th November – Ware’s The Bricks
Ware’s The Bricks Robot Rumble is a one day event focused on robotics. Block Party Robot League are coming along to run the main battles and there will be a whole host of other displays and traders. Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November – Christmas Winterfest Market
Southern Maltings, Kibes Lane, Ware, SG12 7BS, will be packed to the rafters with two floors of curated, handpicked stalls with unique, handmade or boutique gifts and local produce, from makers, artists and small, local independent businesses. With approximately 45 stallholders. They will showcase local high-quality art, local produce and crafts, Christmas decorations and wreaths, toys, books, jewellery, handcrafted homeware and other small, local boutique businesses. Start your Christmas shopping early for all your shopping needs, and make Christmas 2026 extra special with a visit to this Christmas Winterfest Market. Food and drinks also available including mulled wine and mince pies. Entry is free but as a local charity operating in our community donations are always very welcome. Tickets are not required. Friday 13th November – Ware Poets
Clare is an Associate Lecturer with The Open University and a Tutor for The Arvon Foundation. In 2021, whilst holding a Fellowship at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, she wrote libretti for operas with composers Amy Crankshaw and Michael Bascom. The first half of this event will be open mic, so please feel free to bring and read a poem in a friendly and welcoming space. Saturday 14th November – Hertfordshire Big Band
An award-winning ensemble that’s been lighting up the UK jazz scene since 2003. With a rich history spanning over two decades, this dynamic community jazz orchestra brings a bold and brilliant sound that celebrates the very best of big band music. Known for their passion, precision, and ever-evolving repertoire, the band performs a vibrant mix of styles from the roaring 1920s to the grooves of today. Tuesday 5th January – Baby Rhyme Time
These fun, half hour sessions of songs and rhymes are perfect for helping your child to learn language skills and are a great opportunity for you to meet other families too. Baby Rhyme Time is free although donations are welcome. No booking required. For the comfort and safety of families they may have to limit numbers so entry to a session cannot be guaranteed. Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th April – Ware’s The Bricks
Ware’s The Bricks is at Ware Priory, High Street, Ware, SG12 9AL, and as well as the main exhibits they are also holding their popular ‘Great Ball Contraption’ workshops where you will get the opportunity to build your own module to take home. They hold a ‘Quiet Hour’ in association with SPACE Hertfordshire, from 10am on the Sunday morning to allow those who need more space and less noise to attend and enjoy the event, if you would like to book Quiet Hour tickets, get in touch. Ware’s The Bricks is being put on again in aid of the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, which is not part of the NHS and receives limited Government funding. Your support will help to provide a free life-saving Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for the critically ill and injured of Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. (www.ehaat.org) They will also be hosting an area where the kids can get involved and can build their own amazing creation with their massive array of Lego pieces, giving everyone a chance to relax and enjoy a drink or bite to eat.
