Tuesday 23rd June – Charter Market
Ware Charter Market bringing together a selection of vendors and traders at this regular Tuesday Charter Market. Taking place at Tudor Square and surrounding streets every Tuesday from 10am – 4pm. Come and support small businesses, and experience the charm of our community.

Thursday 25th June – Maltings Stitch Café
Maltings Stitch Café is a fortnightly drop-in group for those seeking to stitch, make new friends and share ideas. Whether your style is embroidery or machine stitching, felting or tapestry, everyone is welcome to this friendly group. All levels are welcome too, whether you are a novice with a needle or an expert seamstress. You can bring your own projects to work on, whilst socialising in the Café, with a cuppa. This is a drop in session open to all, with no need to book. Thursdays fortnightly from 10am – 1pm, at Southern Maltings. Kibes Lane, Ware, SG12 7BS, next is 9th July.

Friday 26th June – Ware Country Market
Weekly Country Market with plenty of goods on offer from local bakers, producers and makers all under one roof. Fridays from 9am – 12 noon. At Leaside Church and Community Centre, High Street, Ware, SG12 9BT.

Saturday 27th June – Westmill Parkrun
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog or run. The event takes place at Three Lakes Campsite, Westmill Farm, Ware, SG12 0ES. Every week they grab a post parkrun coffee in the Three Lakes Restaurant. Saturdays from 9am, for further information click here

Sunday 28th June – Table Top Sale
Whether you are hunting for a bargain, having a clear out, or just fancy a browse and a cuppa, come along to this table top sale every last Sunday of the month from 10am – 2pm. Sunday 28th June – Sarah Ellen Hughes Quartet
Award-winning vocalist Sarah Ellen Hughes brings her incredible talent to Jazz @ Southern Maltings in what promises to be an unforgettable performance. Known for her swinging interpretations of jazz standards, Sarah’s unique style blends technical mastery with heartfelt connection. Sarah will be joined by her quartet, featuring some of the finest musicians in the UK jazz scene. Monday 29th June – Guitar Club
The guitar club will be running on the last Monday of the month from 7.30pm – 10.30pm, at Southern Maltings, Kibes Lane, Ware, SG12 7BS. It is perfect for ex pros to first timers. Get advice from people who know, love and understand music. Resident bass, drummer and lead guitarist available to play with, or back you, if needed. With a full working set up. Saturday 4th July – Summer Reading Challenge
Saturday 4th July is first day of this year’s Summer Reading Challenge. There will be a range of free activities and crafts available to enjoy, including making instrument shakers and designing your own album cover. Sunday 5th July – Summer Concert: Ware Brass
Free picnic concert held on the back lawn in Ware Priory Gardens, High Street, Ware, SG12 9AL. Enjoy music by Ware Brass, a traditional 25 piece brass band, making music in the county of Hertfordshire for over 150 years. The band performs a wide range of music, from classic brass band repertoire to modern arrangements and popular favourites. All welcome, the Priory bar will be available. Sunday 12th July – Summer Concert: Sound of the Lioness
Free picnic concert held on the back lawn in Ware Priory Gardens, High Street, Ware, SG12 9AL. Join an unforgettable celebration of the iconic Amy Winehouse’s music. This outstanding 8-piece band delivers an authentic tribute, faithfully recreating the distinctive sound that made Amy a global icon, from the jazz-infused style of Frank to the soulful brilliance of Back to Black. Friday 17th July – Ware Poets
Everyone is welcome to this informal and celebratory event. There will be readings of competition’s winning and commended poems, followed by a special reading from this year’s judge Keith Jarrett. Tickets can be bought in advance or on the door. Entry prices are £5; £3 for students under 24; Free to ages 18 and under. Free entry for Competition prizewinners and commended poets. Saturday 18th July – Mentley Farm Lavender Summer Celebration
A wonderful Family Day in the Lavender Fields. Enjoy a relaxing day surrounded by stunning lavender fields, featuring artisan stalls showcasing unique local crafts, dog show, a BBQ and delicious cakes and treats along with entertainment for all ages. Little Hadham Summer Fayre, with Lots of fun for all the family, Live stage music acts throughout the day, activity arena – Dog show, circus skills and more. Saturday 18th July – Nashville Nights and Hog Roast
The Nashville Nights Band features an eclectic mix of talent. From the stages of coveted festivals like Glastonbury and C2C to her London residencies, Savannah is a rising star on the Americana and Country scene. Steve has been involved in the music industry for over 30 years when he first signed a record deal with Warners in 1996. Join them at Southern Maltings, Kibes Lane, Ware, SG12 7BS. The Annual Food Festival returns to Ware Priory grounds, High Street, Ware SG12 9AL on Sunday 19th July from 12 noon – 4pm, for a day packed with street food, local produce, live entertainment and a fantastic community atmosphere.

Sunday 19th July – Summer Concert: Zeroes
Free picnic concert held on the back lawn in Ware Priory Gardens, High Street, Ware, SG12 9AL. Enjoy a summer evening of indie and rock favourites from Pulp, Blur, Happy Mondays, Kings of Leon and more. Saturday 25th July – Ware Town Fringe
Get ready for a whirlwind of laughter and melodies at the Ware Town Fringe, proudly presented by Southern Maltings Art Centre as part of the annual Ware festival. Sunday 26th July – Equine Bootsale and Dog Show
This event will be held outdoors at Widford Playing Field, SG12 8SH. The dog show is a bit of fun for all, rosettes for 1st-5th place. They will be raising money for HEART Animal Rescue. Dog show sponsored by Dog First Aid Hertfordshire. Sunday 26th July from 11am – 1pm.

Sunday 26th July – Summer Concert: Lip Service Brass Band
Free picnic concert held on the back lawn in Ware Priory Gardens, High Street, Ware, SG12 9AL. Enjoy music by this lively local brass band bringing the vibrant sounds of New Orleans fusion with an energetic mix of jazz, funk, pop and street-band classics. Known for their upbeat style and feel-good performances, they create a fun festival atmosphere guaranteed to get audiences smiling, dancing and singing along. Sunday 2nd August – Summer Concert: The Midnight Socials

Join The Midnight Socials for a memorable summer evening of live music, featuring an eclectic mix of hits from the 1950s to the present day. Saturday 8th August – Country And Western Brunch
Dust off your cowboy boots and come and join Brunch and a line dancer will show you how to dance. This is not just a basic brunch, you will learn how to line dance. This is a market run by kids, for everyone. Come along to discover incredible handmade, homemade, and pre-loved products. Saturday 22nd August – Music and Motors
Music and Motors, Ware’s best classic car and music event, returns to Tudor Square for its 18th year. With a selection of local performers playing short acoustic sets and with a display of interesting “motors” brought along by their owners. They welcome a wide range of vehicles, cars, bikes, vans, old or new as long as they are interested in some way. Saturday 22nd August from 12 noon – 5pm.

Sunday 13th September – Tea Dance

Sunday 20th September – The Tudor Square Market
The Tudor Square Markets will be on the 3rd Sunday of the Month from 10am – 2pm. It will feature many of the regular stalls from the inside markets at Southern Maltings, together with some new stalls and street food too. Expect gorgeous locally made artisan food, drink and crafts from the best local makers and small independent producers and businesses, right on your doorstep in Ware. Not on in July, August or December.

Sunday 27th September – Farmers and Craft Market
A magical pop-up event celebrating the best of Hertfordshire’s local makers, bakers and creators. Held at the picturesque Dane End Christmas Tree Farm, High View, Farm Green End Lane, Dane End, Ware, SG12 0FF. Expect a vibrant collection of artisan stalls featuring handmade crafts, seasonal produce, and unique gifts. Delicious treats from local bakers and food producers. Live music to set the spring mood and a cosy cafe on-site for hot drinks and homemade bites. Sunday 27th September from 10am – 3pm.

Saturday 7th November – Ware’s The Bricks
Ware’s The Bricks Robot Rumble is a one day event focused on robotics. Block Party Robot League are coming along to run the main battles and there will be a whole host of other displays and traders. Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November – Christmas Winterfest Market
Southern Maltings, Kibes Lane, Ware, SG12 7BS, will be packed to the rafters with two floors of curated, handpicked stalls with unique, handmade or boutique gifts and local produce, from makers, artists and small, local independent businesses. With approximately 45 stallholders. They will showcase local high-quality art, local produce and crafts, Christmas decorations and wreaths, toys, books, jewellery, handcrafted homeware and other small, local boutique businesses. Start your Christmas shopping early for all your shopping needs, and make Christmas 2026 extra special with a visit to this Christmas Winterfest Market. Food and drinks also available including mulled wine and mince pies. Entry is free but as a local charity operating in our community donations are always very welcome. Tickets are not required. Saturday 14th November – Hertfordshire Big Band
An award-winning ensemble that’s been lighting up the UK jazz scene since 2003. With a rich history spanning over two decades, this dynamic community jazz orchestra brings a bold and brilliant sound that celebrates the very best of big band music. Known for their passion, precision, and ever-evolving repertoire, the band performs a vibrant mix of styles from the roaring 1920s to the grooves of today. Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th April – Ware’s The Bricks
Ware’s The Bricks is at Ware Priory, High Street, Ware, SG12 9AL, and as well as the main exhibits they are also holding their popular ‘Great Ball Contraption’ workshops where you will get the opportunity to build your own module to take home. They hold a ‘Quiet Hour’ in association with SPACE Hertfordshire, from 10am on the Sunday morning to allow those who need more space and less noise to attend and enjoy the event, if you would like to book Quiet Hour tickets, get in touch. Ware’s The Bricks is being put on again in aid of the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, which is not part of the NHS and receives limited Government funding. Your support will help to provide a free life-saving Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for the critically ill and injured of Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. (www.ehaat.org) They will also be hosting an area where the kids can get involved and can build their own amazing creation with their massive array of Lego pieces, giving everyone a chance to relax and enjoy a drink or bite to eat.
