Saturday 2nd December – The Pop Up Bazaar Market

Pre Christmas build up market on Saturday 2nd December from 10am – 4pm. At at the Town Hall Berkhamsted next door to Boots the chemist and The Copper House. Free entry to the public with a lovely cafe where you can eat in or take away a selection of gorgeous hot and cold savoury and sweet snacks. Pop in and share with your friends and family and help buy and support local small businesses at the same time.


Saturday 2nd December – Repair Cafe

Open Door Repair Café, first Saturday morning of every month from 9.30am – 12.30pm. At Open Door, on Berkhamsted High Street, 360-364 High Street, Berkhamsted, HP4 1HU. For further information click here They will have a range of expert repairers available each month, such as: electricals, ceramics, sewing and textiles, bicycles, jewellery and glassware.

These interactive story sessions are perfect for pre-school children to enjoy with their parent/carer. Join in with a mix of picture book stories and rhymes. Every Saturday from 2.15pm – 2.45pm. At Berkhamsted Library, 185 High Street, Berkhamsted, HP4 3HB.


Sunday 3rd December – Berkhamsted Antiques and Vintage Market

Antiques and vintage street market runs on the first Sunday of the month from March until December. Explore the High Street filled with stalls selling an array of antique and vintage items including furniture, records, vintage clothing, books, lighting, mirrors and more. At Berkhamsted High Street, Berkhamsted, HP4 3AP, from 9.30am – 3.30pm.


Tuesday 5th December – Baby Group

Baby Group every Tuesdays from 10.30am – 12 noon for parents/carers and their young babies, a wonderful way to meet new people in a supportive and friendly group. At High Street Baptist Church, 89 High Street, Tring, HP23 4AB.


Tuesday 5th December – Coffee for a Cause

These fun, half hour sessions of songs and rhymes are perfect for helping your child to learn language skills and are an opportunity for you to meet other families too. Every Tuesday at 10.30am – 11am. At Berkhamsted Library, 185 High Street, Berkhamsted, HP4 3HB.


Wednesday 6th December – Games Afternoon

Games Afternoon every Wednesdays from 2pm – 4pm is an afternoon of traditional games and puzzles for seniors, refreshments are served too. At High Street Baptist Church, 89 High Street, Tring, HP23 4AB.


Wednesday 6th December – LEGO Club for Children

Wednesday 6th December – Community Christmas Concert with Carols and Readings

Age UK Dacorum’s annual fundraising Community Christmas Concert with Carols, readings and songs. At St Peter’s Church, Church Lane, Berkhamsted HP4 2AX. With Festive music performed and sung by the Castle Choir, well known Christmas chart toppers led by local musicians and extracts from the Bible, together with modern yuletide messages, either chosen and read by local celebrities or they write and read their own diverse personal messages.

This seasonal celebration has an interval, at which mince pies and mulled wine will be served as part of the ticket price. Wednesday 6th December from 7.30pm – 9.30pm. To book click link


Wednesday 6th December – Open Mic

Open Mic every first Wednesday of the month from 8pm – 11pm, at The Black Horse Tring, Frogmore Street, Tring, HP23 5AZ. PA and Backline provided. Please bring own instruments.


Friday 8th December – Life Drawing 

Regular Life Drawing session at Berkhamsted Town Hall, up in the Great Hall, 196 High Street, Berkhamsted, HP4 3LS. Please bring along your own materials, especially charcoal, board and paper essential, any other materials are completely up to you. Easels very welcome. Venue is open from 10am to set up and have a cuppa. Entrance is the green doorway between Boots and Copperhouse.


Saturday 9th December – Who Let the Dads Out

Who Let the Dads Out is a monthly get together for dads, uncles, grandads, carers and their kids. Refreshments and plenty of toys and activities. Suitable for children aged 0-10yrs. On the second Saturday of the month from 9.30am – 11am. come along and enjoy at High Street Baptist Church, 89 High Street, Tring, HP23 4AB.


Saturday 9th December – Tring Farmers Market

Tring Farmers Market began in May 1999 to promote the sale of local food for local people. Since then it has established a reputation as a really friendly shopping experience. All food is either made or grown locally and the people serving you are usually the producers who are willing to answer any questions regarding the products. Saturday from 9am – 12.30pm. The market is on the second and fourth Saturday of the month.


Saturday 9th December – Nearly New Sale

NCT Nearly New Sale, selling pre-loved clothes, books, toys, nursery equipment and more for children. NCT members get early entry at 10am. Saturday 9th December.


Saturday 9th December – Climate Cafe

Come and join this friendly group to talk about the climate and ecological crisis. They focus on what we think and how we feel about climate change, a safe space to talk openly and listen to others. Wednesday 13th December – The Pop Up Bazaar Christmas Market

The Pop Up Bazaar is branching out and has a new additional location at the CIVIC centre on the high street, Berkhamsted. Wednesday 13th December 10am – 2pm. This Pop Up also coincides with the outdoor market on the high street.


Sunday 17th December – Berkhamsted Farmers Market

Berko FM provides the opportunity for local customers to buy high quality produce direct from the producer. The massive range includes beef, pork, lamb, poultry, fish, fresh veg, bird seeds, sweet & savoury pies, muesli, plants and herbs, honey, beeswax, free range eggs, crepes, hot dogs, burgers and bacon sarnies to go, a fantastic range of breads, olive oil, rapeseed oil, ready prepared meals, a fantastic range of cheeses, apple juice, wine from a vineyard just two miles away and curry sauces to name just a few.
