Wednesday 18th February – Comets Disability Football
Comets is a fun, safe, and inclusive football session for children with disabilities, helping them build confidence, make friends, and enjoy the game. For ages 5–11, boys and girls. Wednesday 18th February – Boxercise
Get ready to punch, jab, and sweat it out in this exciting Boxercise session. Perfect for females aged 16 and above, this high-energy workout will have you feeling like a champion in no time. Expect a dynamic workout that combines boxing techniques with cardio and strength training. Their experienced instructors will guide you through a series of punches, kicks, and drills to help you build strength, improve agility, and boost your fitness levels. Thursday 19th February – Author Michael Catchpool
A special event with author Michael Catchpool as you celebrate his latest book, Jake in the Middle, the first in an exciting new series set on Maple Street. Mike will read from the book, share the inspiration behind the series, and talk about how he creates his stories. During the session, children will also have the chance to explore ideas for writing their own stories. This event is ideal for ages 7–11, but children from age 5 are welcome. Friday 20th February – Captain Calamity
Expect beautiful bubbles, crazy custard pies, anarchic jaw dropping science stunts, enormous balloons, silly songs, a delinquent dragon, lots of corny jokes and enough craziness to send you into fits of giggles before the curtain comes crashing down. Sunday 22nd February – Junior Parkrun
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 2k event for juniors 4-14 year olds. Held every Sunday from 9am, at Furzefield Leisure Centre, Mutton Lane, Potters Bar, EN6 3BW. Every week they grab a post parkrun coffee at the Furzefield Leisure Centre Café. For further information click here

Learn lots of interesting facts, Hunt for Bo Peep’s Lost Sheep hidden around the Farm to win a prize, Meet and grab a photo with Winnie the Pooh Pooh and his best friend Piglet. Visit the indoor Play Barn for the little ones time to let out their energy while jumping on the bouncy castle. Head to Bale Play where you can hop around and play on the straw bales, the perfect Farm photo opportunity. Ride around on the play tractors, a farm favourite allowing children to pretend they are a real Farmer. Monday 23rd February – SEND Chat and Play
These Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Chat and Play sessions are a great opportunity to come and meet other families going through a similar journey, in a relaxed environment. Their SEND Champions are on hand to talk to you about the services we offer, signpost to different organisations or to simply act as a listening ear. All are welcome whether your child is diagnosed or you are concerned about a possible need. They have toys out for the children, or you can come by yourself. Mondays from 10am – 11am. The Town Council runs a monthly Farmers’ and Craft Market each month from 10am – 4pm, at the civic offices, Borehamwood, WD6 5HQ. A mixture of stalls including fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, breads, cheeses, crafts, gifts and other exciting products from local small businesses.

Wednesday 11th March – Cyber Crime and Fraud Awareness
This free drop-in event features talks from Hertfordshire Police, Hertfordshire County Council Trading Standards and Beacon Victim Care, as well as opportunities to ask questions of cyber and fraud crime prevention experts. Get advice on keeping your devices and accounts safe through passwords and 2-step verification, get better at spotting phishing and social engineering, keep up to date with the latest online, phone, email and text scams, and more. Sunday 22nd March – Easter Eggstravaganza
Radlett Preparatory School, Radlett, WD7 7LY, are holding an Easter Eggstravaganza on Sunday 22nd March from 12 noon – 4pm. The event is for all families to enjoy. Included in the entry fee of £10 per person (Under 3s and over 65 are free) is an Easter Bunny Hunt, Bouncy Castles and an Adventure Playground. They have ‘Radlett Rascals’ for pre-school children to play/dance/sing and Fairground Rides. A dog/puppy Competition £5 entry, stalls, cakes, picnic areas and much more. A singer and actor, a TV host and author, a BRIT Award winner and a film star, Toyah has worn many hats during a remarkable career spanning more than 50 years. With a new book in the offing, Toyah is hitting the road for an extensive UK tour in which she will sing favourite hits and tell stories from her remarkable career.
