Monday 11th May – Community Hub
Your Community Hub is your go to connection spot, a welcoming space filled with friendly faces and helpful support. Whether you are after advice, activities, or just somewhere to feel at home, They are there for you. You can find housing advice, local activities and signposting, office services and digital support, pension credit application support and quitting smoking support. Plus lots more. Monday 11th May – LGBTQ+ Group
Monthly get together for LGBTQ+ people of all ages, genders and sexualities. Second Monday of each month from 7pm – 9pm until June 2026, at Allum Manor, 2 Allum Lane, Elstree, Borehamwood, WD6 3PJ.

Tuesday 12th May – Men That Meet Group
Open to men of all ages, a welcoming, supportive circle where you can take part in many activities, lively discussions, workshops and hear from inspiring guest speakers. Wednesday 13th May – Lawn Bowls
Challenge yourself to get closest to the jack while enjoying a friendly, fun atmosphere. This lawn bowling green is accessible for all ages, with plenty of equipment ready for you, just bring flat shoes and you are good to go. Free sessions every Wednesdays from 12 noon – 4pm. Rain or shine, If the weather is very poor, the session may be held indoors inside the Borehamwood Bowls Club, Aberford Road, Borehamwood, WD6 1PL.

Wednesday 13th May – Quiz Night
Get yourself a team together and come and join the fun, at this quiz night, with weekly cash prize. At The Wellington, Theobald Street., Borehamwood, WD6 4SE, every Wednesday from 8pm, until at least December 23rd.

Saturday 16th May – Car Boot Sale
Car boot sale held at The Events Field, Aldenham Road, Elstree, WD6 3BD. Open Every Saturday from 7am – 1pm (weather permitting) from April to October.

Saturday 16th May – Aldenham Parkrun
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog or run. The event takes place at Aldenham Country Park, Aldenham Road, Elstree, WD6 3BA. Every Saturday from 9am. For further information click here

Sunday 17th May – Junior Parkrun
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 2k event for juniors 4-14 year olds. Held every Sunday from 9am, at Furzefield Leisure Centre, Mutton Lane, Potters Bar, EN6 3BW. Every week they grab a post parkrun coffee at the Furzefield Leisure Centre Café. For further information click here

Sunday 17th May – An Evening with Janice Watson
An unforgettable evening in the company of the renowned soprano Janice Watson. This special event promises a rich and inspiring programme, perfect for lovers of classical music and anyone looking to enjoy a memorable night out. Tuesday 19th May – Learning French
A friendly French course to build your confidence. Beginners, intermediate, and advanced conversation groups available. The course takes place at Allum Manor, Allum Lane, Borehamwood, WD6 3PJ. Free trial session on Tuesday 19th May. The full 5-week course runs every Tuesday from 2nd June to 30th June: Beginners (10am – 11am), Intermediate (11am – 12 noon), Advanced Conversation (12 noon – 1pm).

Wednesday 20th May – An Evening with Toyah: Songs and Stories
A singer and actor, a TV host and author, a BRIT Award winner and a film star, Toyah has worn many hats during a remarkable career spanning more than 50 years. With a new book in the offing, Toyah is hitting the road for an extensive UK tour in which she will sing favourite hits and tell stories from her remarkable career. Sunday 24th May – Farmers and Craft Market
The Town Council runs a monthly Farmers’ and Craft Market each month from 10am – 2pm, at civic offices car park, Borehamwood, WD6 5HQ. A mixture of stalls including fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, breads, cheeses, crafts, gifts and other exciting products from local small businesses.

Wednesday 27th May – Build a LEGO Town
As part of May being ‘Explore Your Archives’ Month, Borehamwood Library, Shenley Road, Borehamwood, WD6 1EB are inviting children aged 7–12 years to get creative and help build a LEGO town inspired by Borehamwood. Wednesday 27th May from 10.30am – 11.30am. Book at the library.

Saturday 13th June – The Best of Broadway and Opera: Bella Popera

Friday 26th June – Older Persons Activity, Learning and Safety
Older persons activity, learning and safety (OPALS) events are sociable, seated events where you can get quality advice and help on a wide range of services available. As well as giving reassuring safety and wellbeing support, the event includes an opportunity to meet other residents in your area, safety related freebies and representatives from a variety of agencies giving advice on the services they offer. Tuesday 11th August – Fun In The Park
A free event for the whole family in your local park. Come and join an afternoon in the park with Inflatables fun and lots more. Fun In The Park will be in Potters Bar Oakmere Park, on Tuesday 11th August and in Borehamwood Meadow Park on Wednesday 12th August. You only need to book your tickets for children, which are free but any donation will go a long, long way to help to continue Park Events bringing you all of their events throughout the year.

Saturday 21st November – Step Into Christmas

Upstage Productions present Snow White as their traditional family pantomime.
