Saturday 8th November – Christmas Fayre

Saturday 8th November – ABBA Sensation

ABBA Tribute Band Sensation are performing at Broadway Theatre, Eastcheap, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 3DD. Experience a spectacular stage show that brings the magic of ABBA to life with dazzling costume changes, stunning lighting effects, and a faithful recreation of their iconic sound. Saturday 8th November from 7.30pm. Sunday 9th November – Remembrance Day Parade

Letchworth’s Remembrance Day parade will be taking place on Sunday 9th November. The parade starts at Broadway Gardens, Letchworth, along Broadway to the War Memorial on Station Place. It will leave at 10.30am and the service at the War Memorial will run from 10.45am – 11.20am with the 2-minute silence at 11am.


Wednesday 12th November – The Festival of The Day of the Dead

Come and celebrate the festival of The Day of the Dead in a mask-making workshop for Adults, run by Being Mortal. Through gentle conversation and craft, explore how planning and talking about the natural life processes of death and grief can help reduce fear, support wellbeing and give us agency over our own stories. Friday 14th November – Coffee and Chat

Bring your own memories, stories and photographs to share with the group of growing up in the Garden City. Perhaps you have photographs of your house, your favourite places or where you or a family member worked. Coffee and chat morning, Fridays from 10am at Letchworth Museum, at One Garden City, Broadway, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 3BF (by Morrisons and free to attend).


Saturday 15th November – Letchworth Food, Drink and Craft Festival

The Letchworth Food, Drink and Craft Festival is on every third Saturday from 10am – 4pm. At Leys Square, Letchworth.


Saturday 15th November – Community Surgery

Join North Herts Council on Saturday 15th November from 10.30am – 12 noon, for the Letchworth Community Surgery. It is a fantastic opportunity to discuss any matters of interest or concern with your Councillors. At Garden Square Shopping Centre, Letchworth.  


Wednesday 19th November – Create and Chat for Adults

Letchworth Library, Broadway, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 3PF, run a Create and Chat for adults crafting group every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10.30am – 12 noon. It is a free drop-in group. Bring along your own crafting projects and share ideas with like-minded people. They can also help to get you started with knitting, crochet and sewing.

Saturday 22nd November – Christmas Light Switch-On

The Letchworth Christmas Light switch on, with funfair, live music, food and drink, light parade and much more. Saturday 22nd November from 12 noon – 7pm. The parade will gather at 4pm and Lights on at 5pm.


Sunday 23rd November – Charity Quiz Night

Charity quiz night in aid of Garden House Hospice, at The Arena Tavern, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 3BY. Sunday 23rd November from 6.30pm start. Teams of 2-6.


Tuesday 25th November – Young Adult Craft Group

Young Adult Craft Group, meeting on the last Tuesday of every month from 5.30 – 7pm. Sessions will include exciting crafts like painting, clay work, drawing, jewellery making and much more. Open to young adults 14-25yrs. Come along, get creative, and meet others who love making things. Saturday 29th November – Telescope Workshop

Buying a telescope? Have one but not sure how to use it? Come along and get help to choose the right telescope and learn how to get the best out of it. The event by Letchworth and District Astronomical Society, is free of charge, though they would welcome donations to the society. Standalone Farm Christmas Market, running over two festive weekends. Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th November from 10am – 4pm. This much-loved event attracts families and visitors looking for unique, handcrafted gifts, festive treats, and a joyful seasonal experience. Saturday 21st December – Farmers on Christmas

The Farmers on Christmas Lights Tour is back for its fifth year. For one night only, the tractor rally will see over 100 festive farm vehicles hit the roads of Baldock, bringing the magic a few days before Christmas. It is the biggest free, family-friendly event of its kind in Hertfordshire and is certain to put a smile on the faces of all who stop to watch. This wonderful event is organised by local farmers in aid of Garden House Hospice Care, with every penny raised in donations directly supporting their cause. The Letchworth convoy arrives at 6.45pm via Pixmore Way, into Norton Way South, up Gernon Road and back down Eastcheap and Broadway Gardens, before moving on to Hitchin.
