Saturday 8th November – A Fungi Foray at Astonbury Wood
A fascinating guided walk through one of Hertfordshire’s best sites for fungi, Astonbury Wood, Aston, North Stevenage, SG14 3RY. Led by a member of the Herts and Beds Fungi Group, this is a unique opportunity to explore the woodland and learn about some of the incredible fungi species that thrive here in autumn. The walk will be approximately 1.5 miles (2.4km) in length and almost all within Astonbury Wood. The paths can be very wet and muddy at this time of year, suitable boots or wellies are advised. Sunday 9th November – Mum2mum Market
Come and shop pre loved, good condition all things baby, kids and maternity with 20 stalls to browse. Refreshments and snacks available. £2 entry, kids for free and free entry in the last half hour. Sunday 9th November – Weekend Stories
Storytime for under 8’s. This is a free, drop-in event at Stevenage Central Library, Southgate, Stevenage, SG1 1HD. Sunday from 2pm – 2.30pm. Every Sunday until the end of the year.

Monday 10th November – An Evening With Robert Snary
Robert is an enthusiastic amateur photographer who likes to travel and explore when not hard at work in telecommunications. Come and see how his enthusiasm can transport you away for an evening. Tuesday 11th November – Tea and Toast

Wednesday 12th November – Board Game Group

Thursday 13th November – Warm Welcoming
Join The Oval Community Centre, Vardon Road, Stevenage, SG1 5RD, every Thursday from 12 noon – 2pm, for a free lunch in their cosy, warm coffee bar. Until 18th December.

Saturday 15th November – Celebration of Remembrance Ball
An unforgettable evening bringing together veterans, families, and the wider community in a celebration of remembrance. This special night will honour the Armed Forces community while raising vital funds to support their wellbeing. A delicious three course dinner, Stand-up comedy from The Veterans Comedy Club, Live music from Sora Veil plus DJ and dancing until midnight. Signed memorabilia auction, plus powerful tribute films reflecting on the service and sacrifice of our veterans. Friday 21st November – Sunday 23rd November – Knebworth Christmas Fair
The Knebworth Christmas Fair will be returning to the Barns and Marquees at Knebworth House for a three day event on Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd November from 9.30am – 4pm. The Knebworth Christmas Fair is the region’s biggest festive shopping event, packed with Christmas gifts, presents for all ages and delicious festive food & drink, this really is a festive event that everyone can enjoy. The Purrr-fect Pantomime adventure this Christmas. Saturday 22nd November – Stevenage Indoor Market Grand Re-Opening
Stevenage Indoor Market Grand Re-Opening at Boston House, Park Place, SG1 1AY. On Saturday 22nd November from 10.30am – 3pm to celebrate the new Indoor Market. Sunday 23rd November – Christmas Market
Christmas Market with stalls, meet Santa in his Grotto, Alpaca Experience, pet photography, Mulled wine and Mince Pies, and more, on Sunday 23rd November from 1pm – 5pm. All the stalls are donating a special gift from their merchandise to enter into a Christmas Charity Raffle so grab your raffle tickets while your there and help raise some money.

Friday 28th November – Knebworth Christmas Lights Switch On
Join Knebworth Parish Council at this fun event for the whole community, to celebrate the switch-on of the village Christmas Lights. There will be a wide range of stalls to get a start on the Christmas shopping, along with food, drinks and live entertainment. At St Martin’s church and grounds, St Martins Road, Knebworth, SG3 6ER. Saturday 29th November – Christmas Pamper and Shopping Event
