Tuesday 30th April – Baby Rhyme Time
These fun, half hour sessions of songs and rhymes are perfect for helping your child to learn language skills and are an opportunity for you to meet other families too. Baby Rhyme Time is free though donations are welcomed. No booking required. Tuesdays from 10.15am – 10.45am and 11.15am – 11.45am. Tuesday 30th April – Board Games Club
At this Board Games Club, you can have fun playing games like Snakes and Ladders, Dominoes or Snap. Or even, write rules, forfeits and rewards to create your own board game. It runs every Tuesday from 4pm – 5pm so drop in at any point during the hour. It is for anyone aged 6+ and is free to attend. At Bishop’s Stortford Library, The Causeway, Bishop’s Stortford, CM23 2EJ
Tuesday 30th April – Crafts, Games and Bible Stories
Join Bishop’s Stortford Methodist Church for Crafts, games and Bible stories on Tuesdays from 6.30pm – 8pm. For more information you can email [email protected]
Wednesday 1st May – Coffee Morning
Drop in for tea and biscuits, have a chat and make new friends. Various activities and themed sessions. Mature members of the local community or anyone who would like to join a friendly group. Every first Wednesday of the month from 10.30am – 11.30am. At Bishop’s Stortford Library, The Causeway, Bishop’s Stortford, CM23 2EJ.
Friday 3rd May – Friday Storytime
Join in with stories and rhymes, ideal for children aged 2-5. There is no need to book, just turn up. This event is free, but donations are welcome. First Friday of the month from 10.30am – 11am. At Bishop’s Stortford Library, The Causeway, Bishop’s Stortford, CM23 2EJ.
Friday 3rd May – Sheering Youth Club
A safe space for young people aged 11-19 to meet new people and take part in activities. Fridays from 4pm – 6pm. At Sheering Village Hall, Bishop’s Stortford, CM22 7LX.
Saturday 4th May – IT Champions
Bishop’s Stortford Library, The Causeway, Bishop’s Stortford, CM23 2EJ, now have two IT Champions. Their times are: Tuesdays 10am – 11am and Saturdays 1.30pm – 2.30pm. If you or someone you know needs any help with IT: tablets, computers, new programs etc, it is the perfect time to come to the library.
Monday 13th May – Craftea
Open to all, drop in, bring your current project or just have a chat over a cuppa. Every second Monday of the month from 10.30am – 12 noon. At Bishop’s Stortford Library, The Causeway, Bishop’s Stortford, CM23 2EJ.

Hummingbird Cancer Support meet at South Mill Arts Centre, 1-3 South Road, Bishop’s Stortford, CM23 3JG, every Monday from 10.30am – 1.30pm. Not on Bank Holidays or 23rd December.
Thursday 16th May – An Evening With…
Join Bishop’s Stortford Library, The Causeway, Bishop’s Stortford, CM23 2EJ, for an evening of poetry from prize-winning writer Kandace Siobhan Walker and share your own poetry during the open mic session. Thursday 16th May from 7pm. Book tickets in the library.
