Wednesday 4th March – Keep Fit
Tailored circuit class for the older adult, providing a great opportunity to get a bit fitter and meet new people in an informal, friendly environment. Targeting different elements of fitness such as cardiovascular health (heart and lung function), core stability (abdominal muscles) and build strength. At All Saints Church, Croxley Green, WD3 3HJ. Thursday 5th March – Dementia Information Day
An information day designed for older adults and their families. The event will bring together local organisations, including the Herts police, Carers in Herts and Memory support Hertfordshire, along with other stallholders who will be available on-site to answer questions and share helpful advice about care, wellbeing, and community support. Thursday 5th March from 10am – 1pm at William Penn Leisure Centre, Shepherds Lane, Mill End, Rickmansworth, WD3 8JN.

Thursday 5th March – Tech Café
This Tech Café is for Older Adults at Chorleywood Community Library, Lower Road, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, WD3 5LB. A relaxed drop-in where you can bring your own device, get one-to-one help with everyday digital tasks, learn step by step, at your own pace and enjoy a cuppa while building confidence. Thursday from 10.30am – 12 noon. Next April 2nd and May 7th.

Thursday 5th March – Crafty All Sorts
Come along for crafting, chat and cake every Thursday from 12 noon – 2pm, at Royal British Legion Club, Ebury Road, Rickmansworth WD3 1BN. Until at least end of August 2026.

Thursday 5th March – Quiz Night
Join The Gate Pub, Rickmansworth Road, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, WD3 5SQ, for a quiz night every other Thursday from 7pm – 9pm. Gather your cleverest friends and make your Thursday nights a little more competitive. Next 19th March .

Saturday 7th March – Rickmansworth Parkrun
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog or run. The event takes place at Rickmansworth Aquadrome, Frogmoor Lane, Rickmansworth, WD3 1NB. Every week they grab a post parkrun coffee in the Café in the Park. Every Saturday from 9am, for further information click here

Saturday 7th March – Heroes and Villains Family Concert
Chorleywood Music Presents the Heroes and Villains Family Concert. A one hour family concert featuring music from films, shows and well known classics. Lots of fun for all the family. Suitable for children young and old, a fantastic introduction to the orchestra and live music. Including music from Wicked, Matilda, Hercules, The Greatest Showman and lots more. Sunday 8th March – 100 Years of Big Bands
The LP Swing Orchestra with Matt Ford, Nicola Emmanuelle and Georgina Jackson. Paying homage to the great big band singers, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat ‘King’ Cole and Peggy Lee along the way, feet will be tapping to the sheer power of a 17 piece swing orchestra. Monday 9th March – Bumps and Babies
Volunteer-led sessions for new and expectant parents to meet, chat and let babies (and sometimes toddlers) explore and play. NCT Bumps and Babies play groups are a fun way to meet other local parents. Some of the groups also welcome toddlers and older children. This month we will be joined by Sam from Gentle Hands Parenting to give a demo of her new Baby Sign Time sessions. Learn how you can communicate with your baby through signing with songs, stories and playtime- help your child understand their feelings and be able to express themselves. Tuesday 10th March – Nattercraft
Join this social inclusion group every Tuesday 10am – 12 noon. Open to adults, all welcome, bring your own crafts or just chat. Refreshments of tea and coffee will be provided. This is held at the Scout Hut, 32 Ebury road, Rickmansworth, WD3 1AY.

Saturday 14th March – Community Litter Pick
Croxley Green Parish Council is taking part in The Great British Spring Clean, and they need your help to keep their beautiful green spaces litter-free, Join and organised community litter pick, they have all the equipment you need. Saturday, 14th March from 12 noon – 3pm. Meet at Mill Lane side of Weston Wood, WD3 3AT. They will be tidying up Weston Wood, the canal, and Croxley Common Moor. Wednesday 18th March from 12 noon – 5pm. Meet at Parish Council Offices, they will be cleaning up their public footpaths and boundary.

Monday 16th March – Walk and Talk
A leisurely stroll around the lakes of Rickmansworth Aquadrome, Frogmore Lane, Rickmansworth, WD3 1NB. Meet at the tree between the cafe and the car park at for a buggy friendly walk. Saturday 21st March – Help To Build A Bee Tower
They are important and brilliant, all leading amazingly interesting lives, though many of our bees are slowly (some quickly) disappearing from our environment. Learn about a few of these fascinating characters, and try to spot some, then you will help give bees a home at Stocker’s Lake by helping to build a collection of bee towers. Sunday 22nd March – Neurodiversity Week Silent Disco
Celebrate Neurodiversity Week with a Silent Disco designed to bring people of all abilities together for a fun, inclusive, and sensory-friendly experience. Participants will wear wireless headphones, allowing everyone to choose their own music channel and dance at their own pace. The sessions are thoughtfully designed to cater to different sensory preferences, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all. A range of activities, including glow stick making, Giant group and individual game, as well as an arts and crafts area will be available for all to enjoy. Sunday 5th April – Repair Cafe
Join Croxley Green Parish Council on the first Sunday of every month from 10am – 1pm (until end of November) for their Repair Café, a community event dedicated to reducing waste and giving your broken items a new lease on life. No booking needed, just drop in and enjoy a friendly, sustainable way to repair and reuse. Small electrical items (lamps, kettles, toasters, etc.). Furniture repairs (loose joints, minor fixes). Bike maintenance (brakes, punctures, adjustments). Clothing and textiles (patching, hemming, button replacements). Basic tech fixes (software issues, minor hardware adjustments). Saturday 11th April – Five Lakes Springtime Walk
A scenic 6km guided walk around five stunning lakes in the Upper Colne Valley, a perfect way to immerse yourself in nature this spring. Along the route, expert guide Josh will introduce you to the local wildlife and help you pick out a few springtime birds by their songs, perfect for nature lovers. Wednesday 27th May – Dinosaurs Live
For the first time since 1881, the home of dinosaurs, London’s Natural History Museum, is going on tour. Go on a pre-historic journey To the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods and watch the life-like dinosaurs come alive right on stage. Not only that, but you will also find out more about fossils, time scales and how our planet has changed over hundreds of millions of years. Saturday 20th June – The Croxley Revels
The Croxley Revels is a traditional summer village fayre held annually on the afternoon of the Saturday closest to summer solstice. There are between 65 and 90 stalls (annual variations), an arena that stages all manner of entertainment and activities from judo exhibitions to Morris dancers. Saturday 20th June from 12.30pm – 5pm

Wednesday 11th November – Five Star Swing at Christmas
A joyous swing spectacular with iconic songs, singalongs, and five-star musicianship and charm.
