Thursday 23rd April – Crafty All Sorts
Come along for crafting, chat and cake every Thursday from 12 noon – 2pm, at Royal British Legion Club, Ebury Road, Rickmansworth WD3 1BN. Until at least end of August 2026.

Friday 24th April – Knit and Natter
Open to all, from absolute beginners to experienced knitters. Bring along all your crafts whilst enjoying a chat. At Croxley Green Library, Barton Way, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth, WD3 3HB. Fridays from 10am – 12 noon.

Saturday 25th April – Rickmansworth Parkrun
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog or run. The event takes place at Rickmansworth Aquadrome, Frogmoor Lane, Rickmansworth, WD3 1NB. Every week they grab a post parkrun coffee in the Café in the Park. Every Saturday from 9am, for further information click here

Saturday 25th April – The Antique Collective
A weekly buying event, meet the experts and sell direct, bring in your unwanted gold, jewellery, watches and antiques for instant valuations and offers. No obligation, free on-the-spot valuations. Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April – Bowls Club
Come along and give bowls a try, Whether you are completely new, bringing friends or family, or just fancy trying something different, everyone is welcome. Saturday 25th April – Renewables Roadshow
Grand Union Community Energy is delighted to be partnering with Three Rivers District Council to bring you all the information you need on renewables in one place. If you are interested in how renewable technology could save you money on your energy bills, come along and speak to those that have done it themselves and get all your questions answered by local experts. With local installers on hand to see if solar panels or heat pumps could work for your home, it is the one stop shop for all your renewable information. Sunday 26th April – RSPCA Walk-in
Free microchipping, for cats. dogs, rabbits and ferrets, advice, flea and worm treatment and more at Mill End Community Centre, Old School Building, Church Lane, Mill End, Rickmansworth, WD3 8HD. Sunday 26th April from 11.30am – 2.30pm.

Monday 27th April – Walk and Talk
Join Walk and Talk volunteers for a leisurely stroll around the lakes of Rickmansworth Aquadrome . They prefer you to book a ticket so they know who to look out for but these are free and the event is open to all. Monday 27th April from 2pm – 4pm. To book click here

Tuesday 28th April – Nattercraft
Join this social inclusion group every Tuesday 10am – 12 noon. Open to adults, all welcome, bring your own crafts or just chat. Refreshments of tea and coffee will be provided. This is held at the Scout Hut, 32 Ebury road, Rickmansworth, WD3 1AY.

Thursday 30th April – Quiz Night
Join The Gate Pub, Rickmansworth Road, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, WD3 5SQ, for a quiz night every other Thursday from 7pm – 9pm. Gather your cleverest friends and make your Thursday nights a little more competitive. Next 14th May.

Saturday 2nd – Monday 4th May – Horton’s Steam Fair
Family friendly vintage fairground at The Green, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth, WD3 3HN. It Is free entry all day, just pay for the rides you need. Plus on Saturday night there will be a free firework display. Saturday 2nd – Monday 4th May

Sunday 3rd May – Repair Cafe
Join Croxley Green Parish Council on the first Sunday of every month from 10am – 1pm (until end of November) for their Repair Café, a community event dedicated to reducing waste and giving your broken items a new lease on life. No booking needed, just drop in and enjoy a friendly, sustainable way to repair and reuse. Small electrical items (lamps, kettles, toasters, etc.). Furniture repairs (loose joints, minor fixes). Bike maintenance (brakes, punctures, adjustments). Clothing and textiles (patching, hemming, button replacements). Basic tech fixes (software issues, minor hardware adjustments). Monday 4th May – Stepping Up For Cancer Spring Walk
This beautiful, scenic countryside walk, starting from Chenies Manor and along the Chess Valley, offers a 10k challenge or a shorter route. Every step you take helps support vital cancer imaging services for patients in need. Entry fee includes access to Chenies Manor Tulip Gardens after 2pm on the day. Thursday 7th May – Tech Café
This Tech Café is for Older Adults at Chorleywood Community Library, Lower Road, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, WD3 5LB. A relaxed drop-in where you can bring your own device, get one-to-one help with everyday digital tasks, learn step by step, at your own pace and enjoy a cuppa while building confidence. Thursday from 10.30am – 12 noon.

Monday 11th May – Bumps and Babies
Join other new parents for a chat and a have hot drink. You do not need to be an NCT member or to have attended antenatal classes with NCT. Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May – Batchworth Boat Rally
The Batchworth Boat Rally that takes place on the Grand Union Canal between Batchworth Lock (Lock 81) and Stockers Lock (Lock 82). Boat Handling Displays. A Parade of the small boats between Batchworth and Stockers Locks. Floating Market, Licensed Bar and refreshments, plus live music. Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May. Tuesday 26th May – Later Life Festival
A Later Life Festival on Tuesday 26th May from 10am – 2pm at Rickmansworth Golf Club, Moor Lane, Rickmansworth, WD3 1QL. An event designed for older adults and their families. The day will bring together local organisations, including Memory Support Hertfordshire, Carers in Herts, Watford and Three Rivers Trust, and Age UK. They will offer advice, support, and information on care, wellbeing, and community services. A variety of stallholders will be in attendance, providing visitors an opportunity to ask questions, access resources, and connect with local support networks.

Wednesday 27th May – Dinosaurs Live
For the first time since 1881, the home of dinosaurs, London’s Natural History Museum, is going on tour. Go on a pre-historic journey To the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods and watch the life-like dinosaurs come alive right on stage. Not only that, but you will also find out more about fossils, time scales and how our planet has changed over hundreds of millions of years. Friday 5th June – The Searchers and Hollies Experience
Experience the unforgettable sound of two of the greatest harmony bands of all time in one sensational tribute show. Tuesday 9th June – Older Persons Activity, Learning and Safety
Older persons activity, learning and safety (OPALS) events are sociable, seated events where you can get quality advice and help on a wide range of services available. As well as giving reassuring safety and wellbeing support, the event includes an opportunity to meet other residents in your area, safety related freebies and representatives from a variety of agencies giving advice on the services they offer. Sunday 14th June – Big Green Fair
Local businesses, community groups, charities and environmentally-minded organisations will be taking part in this inspiring community event. The event will bring together a wide range of exhibitors celebrating sustainability and positive environmental action, from eco-friendly products and ethical food to organisations helping people live greener lives. Friday 19th June – Mania: The Abba Tribute
A special concert which celebrates the music of ABBA in a respectful and enjoyable way, this production revives memories of when ABBA ruled the airwaves. Saturday 20th June – The Croxley Revels
The Croxley Revels is a traditional summer village fayre held annually on the afternoon of the Saturday closest to summer solstice. There are between 65 and 90 stalls (annual variations), an arena that stages all manner of entertainment and activities from judo exhibitions to Morris dancers. Saturday 20th June from 12.30pm – 5pm

Sunday 26th July – Militaria Collectors Fair

Wednesday 11th November – Five Star Swing at Christmas
A joyous swing spectacular with iconic songs, singalongs, and five-star musicianship and charm.
