Friday 10th July – Park Tennis

Walking Tennis is for anyone that wants to play tennis, but at their own pace. No running or jumping and you can let the ball bounce twice. Less speed but just as much fun. Ideal for anybody looking to build their confidence, returning from injury, or would just like a bit more time getting to the ball. Free to attend. Saturday 11th July – Rickmansworth Parkrun

A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog or run. The event takes place at Rickmansworth Aquadrome, Frogmoor Lane, Rickmansworth, WD3 1NB. Every week they grab a post parkrun coffee in the Café in the Park. Every Saturday from 9am, for further information click here


Tuesday 14th July – Nattercraft

Join this social inclusion group every Tuesday 10am – 12 noon. Open to adults, all welcome, bring your own crafts or just chat. Refreshments of tea and coffee will be provided. This is held at the Scout Hut, 32 Ebury road, Rickmansworth, WD3 1AY.


Wednesday 15th July – Keep Fit

Tailored circuit class for the older adult, providing a great opportunity to get a bit fitter and meet new people in an informal, friendly environment. Targeting different elements of fitness such as cardiovascular health (heart and lung function), core stability (abdominal muscles) and build strength. At All Saints Church, Croxley Green, WD3 3HJ. Thursday 16th July – Walk and Talk

Would you like a chance to get out in the fresh air with a guided walk and some meditation? Come and join Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care at Woodoaks Farm, Denham Way, Maple Cross, Rickmansworth, WD3 9XQ, for their Wellness Walk. For older people who want to keep fit, living with life limiting illness. Family and cares welcome. Thursday 18th June from 9.45am. Next 17th September.


Thursday 16th July – Crafty All Sorts

Come along for crafting, chat and cake every Thursday from 12 noon – 2pm, at Royal British Legion Club, Ebury Road, Rickmansworth WD3 1BN. Until at least end of August 2026.


Saturday 18th July – Rickmansworth Folk Festival

This free family-friendly celebration of folk music brings together outstanding local performers, visiting artists, and a welcoming community atmosphere in the heart of Rickmansworth. The day begins at 10.30am with an inclusive Singing Workshop, open to singers of all abilities. The main stage, Folk in The Bury Gardens, from noon to 7pm, features a varied programme of folk music, traditional songs, and performances from talented musicians from across the region and beyond. Following the success of last year, the Second Stage at Batchworth Lock Education Centre from 2pm to 5pm, returns to showcase some of the local folk talent. The headline act, Man The Lifeboats, will round off Folk in The Bury Gardens from 6pm, with their energetic performance, infectious choruses, and stirring sea-folk sound. The festival continues into the evening with a traditional folk sing around from 8pm to 11pm at the Fox and Hounds, High Street, Rickmansworth, where singers and musicians are invited to perform, and non-musicians can simply enjoy the music. Thursday 23rd July – Zumba in the Park

Join a fun-filled outdoor workout combining easy-to-follow dance moves with upbeat music in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Suitable for all fitness levels, this session is designed to boost your energy, improve fitness, and help you have fun while staying active. No dance experience needed. Thursdays from 6pm – 7pm at Chorleywood House Estate, Rickmansworth Road, Chorleywood, WD3 5SL. Meet by the tennis courts. Cost is £2.50 per person. Under 18 year olds must be accompanied by an adult. Please dress appropriately for the weather and in something comfortable to move around in. Weekly until 10th September.


Thursday 23rd July – Quiz Night

Join The Gate Pub, Rickmansworth Road, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, WD3 5SQ, for a quiz night every other Thursday from 7pm – 9pm. Gather your cleverest friends and make your Thursday nights a little more competitive. Next 13th August.


Sunday 26th July – Militaria Collectors Fair

Militaria Collectors Fair on Sunday 26th July from 10am – 2pm, at The Reach Free School, Long Lane, Mill End, Rickmansworth, WD3 8AB. Admission (cash only) Preview admission 9am – 10am £5.00 – General admission 10am – 2pm £3.50. Accompanied children under 12 free. Next Sunday 18th October.


Sunday 2nd August – Repair Cafe

Join Croxley Green Parish Council on the first Sunday of every month from 10am – 1pm (until end of November) for their Repair Café, a community event dedicated to reducing waste and giving your broken items a new lease on life. No booking needed, just drop in and enjoy a friendly, sustainable way to repair and reuse. Small electrical items (lamps, kettles, toasters, etc.). Furniture repairs (loose joints, minor fixes). Bike maintenance (brakes, punctures, adjustments). Clothing and textiles (patching, hemming, button replacements). Basic tech fixes (software issues, minor hardware adjustments). Monday 10th – Wednesday 12th August – Concert Band Summer Camp

This unique camp offers an amazing space for advanced musicians to explore a vibrant repertoire with the National Youth Concert Band. Under expert guidance from Mrs Stubbs and the NYCB team, students will refine their ensemble playing, push their technical skills to the next level, and make beautiful music alongside talented peers. Wednesday 11th November – Five Star Swing at Christmas

A joyous swing spectacular with iconic songs, singalongs, and five-star musicianship and charm. Friday 4th – Thursday 31st December – Peter Pan

A spellbinding adventure with Peter Pan. Packed with laughter, music, and magical surprises, it’s the perfect festive treat for the whole family.
