Wednesday 18th February – Active Rhyme Time
Fun, active rhymes and songs for your baby and toddler. A great way to meet other families and develop your child’s communication and physical skills. Siblings welcome. Wednesday 18th February – Baby Rhyme Time
These fun, half hour sessions of songs and rhymes are perfect for helping your child to learn language skills and are a great opportunity for you to meet other families too. At Hoddesdon Library, High Street, Hoddesdon, EN11 8HD. Wednesdays from 10am – 10.30am.
Wednesday 18th February – Fossil Fun Day
The popular Fossil fun day returns to Lowewood Museum, High Street, Hoddesdon, EN11 8BH, in partnership with Rockwatch. Aimed at children and families, visitors can have their own fossils identified, explore other fossils, and engage in arts and crafts. Wednesday 18th February from 10.30am – 3pm.

A dedicated time for SEN children and their friends and families, at Fun Junction Play and Party Centre, Fairley House, Andrew’s Lane, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, EN7 6LB. Normal entry fees apply. Thursday 19th March – Baby Fair
For expectant parents or parents of a child under 1 year, bringing together everything you need to give your baby the best start. Meet other local parents. Enjoy free refreshments. Enjoy play activities with your baby. Save money and the environment by donating unwanted baby and maternity clothes and choosing preloved items. Thursday 19th February – SEND Chat and Play
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Chat and Play sessions are a great opportunity to come and meet other families going through a similar journey, in a relaxed environment. The SEND Champions are on hand to talk to you about the services we offer, signpost to different organisations or to simply act as a listening ear. All are welcome whether your child is diagnosed or you are concerned about a possible need. We have toys out for the children, or you can come by yourself. Friday 20th February – Family Fun
Broxbourne Family Centre Service run ‘Family Fun’ events across Hertfordshire, where they welcome little ones 0-5 years, and their siblings up to 8 years, to come along and take part in fun activities. It is a great way to meet other local parents and carers, take part in activities and also somewhere to visit that does not break the bank. They only charge £2.50 for the whole family. During this session there will be time to play and discover more about your baby’s development as well as support your wellbeing as a new parent. Hertfordshire Studios is bringing communities together through creative talents. Free Tea’s/Coffees and biscuits provided. A safe place for your friends and family to join a group of like minded individuals who enjoy knitting, sewing, and having a good old gossip.
