Thursday 26th June – Smart Living with AI
This online workshop is a thorough Introduction into the area of Generative AI. It will introduce learners to Artificial Intelligence in a wider context as well as key terms and definitions, and then delve into what Generative Artificial Intelligence is and how it can be used to enhance their everyday lives as well as helpful tools, demonstrations and practical applications. Saturday 28th June – Baby and Child First Aid Course
Got a new baby? Or about to start weaning? Come and learn essential First Aid skills at this Baby and Child First Aid course. At All Saints Church Hall, Church Lane, Kings Langley, WD4 8JS. Friday 4th July – Introduction to Modern Calligraphy
Join experienced calligrapher Jen Roffe to learn how to create beautifully joyful lettering in this modern, relaxed and informal style of calligraphy. Modern calligraphy is a creative and expressive way to create lettering, and using brush pens makes it even more so. In this workshop you will learn the calligraphy rules, and how to break them, to create your own unique, fun style with brush calligraphy pens in a variety of colours. This workshop is open to everyone, from those who have dabbled before to those who are total beginners. All calligraphy materials are included and for you to use both in the workshop and take away with you so you can keep practising and creating at home. Sunday 6th July – Beginner’s Abstract Art Painting Workshop
This workshop is suitable for artists of all abilities but particularly those beginners looking to develop abstract acrylic painting skills in a fun and positive environment; they are tailored to suit everyone’s needs. You will learn tips and techniques for using acrylics and how to let yourself be free to explore the world of abstract art. Wednesday 9th July – Boost Your Confidence Taster
Improve your own levels of confidence by exploring where confidence comes from and by identifying the behaviour and characteristics of confident people. You will identify methods and strategies for increasing your confidence levels such as the use of positive thinking and self-affirmations. Coming up with a business idea and starting a business can seem overwhelming and complicated. There are so many things you must consider. One important element is the requirement to create a business plan. Tuesday 22nd July – Story Crafts
In this two hour workshop you will take part in a range of activities linked to popular stories. You and your child/ren will create a Story Sack and make some resources, such as puppets, to go in it. During this workshop you will learn paper-based crafting techniques to create some small decorative boxes ideal for wrapping gifts or used as table setting etc..
