Thursday 29th May – Crafty All Sorts

A fun-filled afternoon of crafting and socializing with new people. Every Thursday from 12 noon – 2pm at Rickmansworth Royal British Legion Club, Ebury Road, Rickmansworth, WD3 1BN.


Friday 30th May – Knit and Natter

The group is for all levels of knitters/crocheters alike, and is free to attend. Just bring your needles and yarn and join in the chat around the table. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided midway through the session, no booking is required, but spaces are limited. Every Friday from 10am – 12 noon. Friday 30th May – Crafternoon

An afternoon of arts and crafts on Friday 30th May from 2pm – 4pm. At Christ First Watford, The Hub, Fuller Way, Croxley, WD3 3PJ. There will be children’s activities as well as the embroidery teaching session for adults. (Please note children can only attend with an adult). The Coffee Hub will be open as well so you can enjoy a delicious hot or cold beverage and yummy treats.


Sunday 1st June – Repair Cafe

Join Croxley Green Parish Council on the first Sunday of every month from 10am – 1pm (until end of November) for their Repair Café, a community event dedicated to reducing waste and giving your broken items a new lease on life. No booking needed, just drop in and enjoy a friendly, sustainable way to repair and reuse. Small electrical items (lamps, kettles, toasters, etc.). Furniture repairs (loose joints, minor fixes). Bike maintenance (brakes, punctures, adjustments). Clothing and textiles (patching, hemming, button replacements). Basic tech fixes (software issues, minor hardware adjustments). Tuesday 3rd June – Nattercraft

Come and have a chat and a laugh whilst getting stuck into a craft or activity. You can bring your own activity/craft or get stuck in with ones provided. Tuesdays from 10am – 12 noon.


Wednesday 4th June – IT Champions

IT Champions offer one-to-one support, problem-solving, and online safety advice for users of the library computers and WiFi. At Croxley Green Library, Barton Way, Croxley Green, WD3 3HB. Wednesdays from 2pm – 3pm.


Thursday 5th June – Cancer Support Group

Cancer Support Group for anyone affected by cancer in a warm and friendly space. First Thursday of the month from 2pm – 4pm, at All Saints’ Church, The Green, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth, WD3 3HJ.


Saturday 7th June – Children’s Art Class

Exciting Children’s Art Classes led by local artist and councillor Cllr Valeria Aguiar. These engaging sessions will explore a variety of themes and artistic techniques, providing a fun and creative environment for children of all skill levels. Each month, young artists will have the opportunity to experiment with different materials, develop their creativity, and learn new skills under the guidance of an experienced artist. Whether your child is a budding Picasso or just beginning their artistic journey, these sessions are designed to inspire and nurture their creativity.

Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June – Outdoor Cinema

Come and Join an afternoon/evening fat this cinema Experience on Chorleywood Common, WD3 5SG. They have a great selection of films for all the family. Bring a picnic or enjoy the various food and drink vendors on site. Seating will not be provided so please bring chairs/blankets/cushions to make sure you have an enjoyable film viewing. Please note no Gazebos, tents or dogs allowed. Saturday films at 2pm Moana 2 PG ( Site Opens at 1pm) and at 6pm, Wicked PG ( Site Opens at 5pm). Monday 9th June – Charity Golf

This event at Moor Park Golf Club, Moor Park, Rickmansworth, WD3 1QN, will start with coffee and bacon rolls served from 11.30am, then 18 holes of golf on the world renowned championship High Course from 1.30pm. There are competitions and fun activities throughout the day, with a delicious three course meal served before the auction and prize giving. Wednesday 11th June – Memory Cafe

If you know of anyone who is living with dementia or memory loss, please let them know about this café. They will have activities, refreshments, cake and a safe place talk. Second Wednesday of each month from 11am – 12.30pm. At Riverside Lodge, 44 Church Street, Rickmansworth, WD3 1JE.


Saturday 14th June – Family Fun Day

The Russell School Family Summer Fun Day. Come and join the fun over lunchtime with BBQ, Bar, Inflatables, Stalls, Games and Entertainment. Saturday 14th June from 11am – 2pm.


Thursday 19th June – Open Morning

Friday 20th June – Hits From The Blitz

A unique feel-good 1940’s show, famous wartime tunes and sing-a-long songs brought to life by the singers and multi-instrumentalists of the Five Star Swing band. Featuring Simone from the latter days of the Ivy Benson Orchestra plus Chris Smith (Jnr) composer and arranger for Glenn Miller’s Brother, Herb and the BBC Radio Big Band. This is a tribute show and is in no way affiliated with any original artists/estates/management companies or similar shows. A Fun Day at Mill End Community Centre, Old School Building, Church Lane, Mill End, Rickmansworth, WD3 8HD. With Bouncy castle, Wild Science Animal Show 3pm, BBQ, Football Dart Board, Kids Crafts, Kids Play area with Monkey Music, RSPCA, Ice Cream Van, Family Games and more. Saturday 21st June from 1pm.


Monday 23rd June – Bumps and Babies

Join other new parents for a chat and a have hot drink made for you by volunteers. All welcome so do spread the word, you do not need to be an NCT member or to have attended antenatal classes with NCT.  To register email watford@nct.org.uk to let them know how many parents are coming and how much cake to make. This month they will be joined by Lydia from WaterBabies to talk about baby swimming, when, how, what to wear etc.


Monday 23rd June – Summer Hope Night

Young people who are neurodiverse are at a significantly higher risk of experiencing poor mental health, learn how to better understand and support them. With expert insight from ADD-vance (The ADHD and Autism Trust), it is an evening of encouragement, understanding, and to boost the community. Hosted by The Trinity Project – empowering all young people to live life to the full. Friday 27th June – Kings and Players

Rickmansworth Players Choir and Kings Langley Community Choir join forces again, for an evening of uplifting songs at the Kings and Players concert on Friday June 27th from 8pm. Set in the wonderful acoustics of St Pauls Church Chipperfield, WD4 9BS, they bring you an eclectic mix  of ancient and modern; peppy and powerful; charming and challenging. To book click here

Saturday 12th July – Chorleywood Village Day

Join Chorleywood Parish on Saturday 12th July from 12 noon – 4pm at Chorleywood Common for a fantastic day of fun for all the family. With Magical story elves (and a dinosaur), a fun dog show, Live music and cider club, local food, drink and community stalls.


Sunday 20th July – Plant Fair

Sunday 17th August – Charity Summer Fete

Expect summer fete stalls including face painting, arts and crafts, beat the goalie, tombola and more. Bring your picnics and enjoy some live music and family fun in the sunshine. At St. Clement Danes School, Chenies Road, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, WD3 6EW. Sunday 17th August from 10am – 2pm. Fundraiser for the UK Sepsis Trust in memory of Gina Campanini, who passed away from sepsis just over 1 year ago.


Monday 25th August – Dahlia Festival

Whether its to enjoy the intense colour of the Sunken garden, the cool elegance of the white garden and the hot colours of the South Border, this spectacular Dahlia Festival makes a wonderful afternoon out. At Chenies Manor House, Chenies, Rickmansworth, WD3 6ER. Enjoy a cup of tea and a delicious locally sourced home-made cakes in these beautiful surroundings.


Sunday 23rd November – Five Star Swing at Christmas
