Friday 18th April – Easter Trail
Family Easter Trail, bring the whole family and journey through the Easter story together. Follow the trail, discover the story of Easter, enjoy some refreshments and get creative with crafts. Sunday 20th April – Easter Egg Hunt
Get ready for an egg-stra special Easter Sunday. Join Crawford Croxley, the lovable Easter mascot, for a fantastic Easter Egg Hunt at Stone Orchard, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth, WD3 3HX, on Sunday 20th April from 10am for younger years and 11am for all ages. Monday 21st April – Easter Fun Day
Egg and Spoon race, Egg hunt in the Manor House, Tractor and Trailer rides, sack race, at Chenies Manor House, Chenies, Rickmansworth, WD3 6ER. Sack race and egg and spoon race are available for all ages and there are different time slots for different age groups. This will be confirmed on the day. Tuesday 22nd April – Nattercraft
Come and have a chat and a laugh whilst getting stuck into a craft or activity. You can bring your own activity/craft or get stuck in with ones provided. Tuesdays from 10am – 12 noon.

Tuesday 22nd April – The Dinosaur Timewarp Show
An exciting, unmissable, and fully interactive Jurassic Panto style adventure filled with music, fun and laughter along the way. An unforgettable dinosaur themed stage show for all the family. Wednesday 23rd April – IT Champions
IT Champions offer one-to-one support, problem-solving, and online safety advice for users of the library computers and WiFi. At Croxley Green Library, Barton Way, Croxley Green, WD3 3HB. Wednesdays from 2pm – 3pm.

Thursday 24th April – Crafty All Sorts
A fun-filled afternoon of crafting and socializing with new people. Every Thursday from 12 noon – 2pm at Rickmansworth Royal British Legion Club, Ebury Road, Rickmansworth, WD3 1BN.

Thursday 24th April – Lego Club
Strictly for children aged 5-12 years. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Thursday from 4.45pm – 5.45pm, at Radlett Library, 1 Aldenham Avenue, Radlett, WD7 8HL. Book at the library.

Friday 25th April – Knit and Natter
The group is for all levels of knitters/crocheters alike, and is free to attend. Just bring your needles and yarn and join in the chat around the table. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided midway through the session, no booking is required, but spaces are limited. Every Friday from 10am – 12 noon. The next Rickmansworth market is on Sunday 27th April from 10.30am – 2.30pm, on the High Street. Next is 25th May.

Thursday 1st May – Cancer Support Group
Cancer Support Group for anyone affected by cancer in a warm and friendly space. First Thursday of the month from 2pm – 4pm, at All Saints’ Church, The Green, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth, WD3 3HJ.

Saturday 3rd May – Children’s Art Class
Exciting Children’s Art Classes led by local artist and councillor Cllr Valeria Aguiar. These engaging sessions will explore a variety of themes and artistic techniques, providing a fun and creative environment for children of all skill levels. Each month, young artists will have the opportunity to experiment with different materials, develop their creativity, and learn new skills under the guidance of an experienced artist. Whether your child is a budding Picasso or just beginning their artistic journey, these sessions are designed to inspire and nurture their creativity.

Sunday 4th May – Repair Cafe
Join Croxley Green Parish Council on the first Sunday of every month from 10am – 1pm (until end of November) for their Repair Café, a community event dedicated to reducing waste and giving your broken items a new lease on life. No booking needed, just drop in and enjoy a friendly, sustainable way to repair and reuse. Small electrical items (lamps, kettles, toasters, etc.). Furniture repairs (loose joints, minor fixes). Bike maintenance (brakes, punctures, adjustments). Clothing and textiles (patching, hemming, button replacements). Basic tech fixes (software issues, minor hardware adjustments). Monday 5th May – Tulip Festival
Chenies Manor House, Chenies, Rickmansworth, WD3 6ER, are famous for their Tulips and the garden will be a blaze with their carefully thought-out colour combinations, from mid-April right throughout May. Thursday 8th May – The Metro-Land Line
Join Rickmansworth Library, Ebury Road, WD3 1AY, who will be hosting the first of two ‘Railway 200’ history walks, revealing the story behind the Metropolitan Line. Saturday 10th May – VE Day Community Picnic
Join Croxley Green Parish Council for this year’s 80th Anniversary VE Day Community Picnic a truly special event. Saturday 10th May from 12 noon – 5pm, on The Green, Croxley Green.

Wednesday 14th May – Memory Cafe

Thursday 15th May – Railway 200’ History Walks
Rickmansworth Library, Ebury Road, WD3 1AY, will be hosting the second of their ‘Railway 200’ history walks, presenting the history of the ‘Ebury Way’ , the Watford-Rickmansworth Branch. Thursday 15th May from 10am. Tickets are free and can be booked at Croxley Green Library.

Saturday 17th May – Batchworth Boat Rally
The Sea Scouts will be hosting live music, food and a bar from Saturday Lunchtime through until Sunday afternoon, there will be a floating market, working boats, ex working and converted heritage boats and of course the usual competitions. The theme for 2025 will be the 90 years birthdays for a very large number of working boats, particularly the Star Class Harland and Wolff boats where 66 pairs were launched that year for the Grand Union Canal Carrying Co. Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June – Outdoor Cinema
Come and Join an afternoon/evening fat this cinema Experience on Chorleywood Common, WD3 5SG. They have a great selection of films for all the family. Bring a picnic or enjoy the various food and drink vendors on site. Seating will not be provided so please bring chairs/blankets/cushions to make sure you have an enjoyable film viewing. Monday 9th June – Charity Golf
This event at Moor Park Golf Club, Moor Park, Rickmansworth, WD3 1QN, will start with coffee and bacon rolls served from 11.30am, then 18 holes of golf on the world renowned championship High Course from 1.30pm. There are competitions and fun activities throughout the day, with a delicious three course meal served before the auction and prize giving. Friday 20th June – Hits From The Blitz
A unique feel-good 1940’s show, famous wartime tunes and sing-a-long songs brought to life by the singers and multi-instrumentalists of the Five Star Swing band. Featuring Simone from the latter days of the Ivy Benson Orchestra plus Chris Smith (Jnr) composer and arranger for Glenn Miller’s Brother, Herb and the BBC Radio Big Band. Whether its to enjoy the intense colour of the Sunken garden, the cool elegance of the white garden and the hot colours of the South Border, this spectacular Dahlia Festival makes a wonderful afternoon out.
