Wednesday 12th March – Memory Cafe
If you know of anyone who is living with dementia or memory loss, please let them know about this café. They will have activities, refreshments, cake and a safe place talk. Second Wednesday of each month from 11am – 12.30pm. At Riverside Lodge, 44 Church Street, Rickmansworth, WD3 1JE.

Wednesday 12th March – IT Champions
IT Champions offer one-to-one support, problem-solving, and online safety advice for users of the library computers and WiFi. At Croxley Green Library, Barton Way, Croxley Green, WD3 3HB. Wednesdays from 2pm – 3pm.

Thursday 13th March – Crafty All Sorts
A fun-filled afternoon of crafting and socializing with new people. Every Thursday from 12 noon – 2pm at Rickmansworth Royal British Legion Club, Ebury Road, Rickmansworth, WD3 1BN.

Thursday 13th March – Lego Club
Strictly for children aged 5-12 years. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Thursday from 4.45pm – 5.45pm, at Radlett Library, 1 Aldenham Avenue, Radlett, WD7 8HL. Book at the library.

Friday 14th March – Knit and Natter
The group is for all levels of knitters/crocheters alike, and is free to attend. Just bring your needles and yarn and join in the chat around the table. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided midway through the session, no booking is required, but spaces are limited. Every Friday from 10am – 12 noon. Saturday 15th March – Rickmansworth Parkrun
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate, every Saturday at 9am. The event takes place at Rickmansworth Aquadrome, Frogmoor Lane, Rickmansworth, WD3 1NB. For further information click here

Saturday 15th March – Create a Superstar Animal Story
Join children’s author Terrie Chilvers for a chapter reading of her book about a mind-reading sausage dog, followed by a creative workshop where children will get the chance to create their own superstar animals. This event is delivered as part of a programme of events celebrating 100 years of Hertfordshire Libraries. Suitable for children 5+. An adult must attend with children aged 5-8. Saturday 22nd March – Becoming Dad
An inclusive information session for new and expectant fathers to help them to connect with and understand their babies’ needs. Supported by trained facilitators from the Family Support Service, this session offers expectant and new fathers an informal and relaxed space to talk through any thoughts and challenges dad to dad as they transition into parenthood. Wednesday 26th March – Bridge Drive
A day of Chicago Bridge with lunch on Wednesday 26th March from 10.30am for 11am start, at Moor Park Golf Club, Moor Park, Rickmansworth, WD3 1QN. Book your table of 4 for this popular event. Friday 4th April – Compassionate Cafe
Compassionate Cafés are a place where people who have experienced a loss, such as a bereavement, can pop in for a cuppa, a cake, and a friendly person to talk to. It provides a safe environment for individuals to come together, have a friendly chat, and connect with others who may share similar experiences. Saturday 5th April – Children’s Art Class
Exciting Children’s Art Classes led by local artist and councillor Cllr Valeria Aguiar. These engaging sessions will explore a variety of themes and artistic techniques, providing a fun and creative environment for children of all skill levels. Each month, young artists will have the opportunity to experiment with different materials, develop their creativity, and learn new skills under the guidance of an experienced artist. Whether your child is a budding Picasso or just beginning their artistic journey, these sessions are designed to inspire and nurture their creativity.

Saturday 5th April – Tales of Dafne and Calypso: A Female Odyssey
A captivating and dynamic performance by New English Ballet Theatre’s world-famous dance makers, exploring the theme of female heroines in mythology and beyond. Discover the world of creative power and lyricism with the cutting-edge dance makers of the next generation of talent. In this new production New English Ballet Theatre’s dancers are joined by international guest artists, Fernanda Oliveira and Fabian Reimair. Hillingdon Outdoor Activity Centre have teamed up with Rickmansworth Sailing Club to offer an exciting range of water activities operating from their Lake, Old Uxbridge Road, West Hyde, Rickmansworth WD3 9YB. An exciting week of sailing and kayaking courses. Tuesday 8th – Thursday 10th April – Easter Camp
CKTS are excited to be running an Easter camp at CK Theatre School, The Memorial Hall, Common Road, Chorleywood, WD3 5LN. The camp is open to 6 – 11 year olds and will be held Tuesday 8th – Thursday 10th April from 10am – 4pm. They will have lots of fun with dance classes, drama games and learning songs from some of your favourite musicals such as Annie, Mary Poppins and The Lion King. Egg and Spoon race, Egg hunt in the Manor House, Tractor and Trailer rides, sack race, at Chenies Manor House, Chenies, Rickmansworth, WD3 6ER. Sack race and egg and spoon race are available for all ages and there are different time slots for different age groups. This will be confirmed on the day. An exciting, unmissable, and fully interactive Jurassic Panto style adventure filled with music, fun and laughter along the way. An unforgettable dinosaur themed stage show for all the family. Monday 5th May – Tulip Festival
Chenies Manor House, Chenies, Rickmansworth, WD3 6ER, are famous for their Tulips and the garden will be a blaze with their carefully thought-out colour combinations, from mid-April right throughout May. Saturday 17th May – Batchworth Boat Rally
The Sea Scouts will be hosting live music, food and a bar from Saturday Lunchtime through until Sunday afternoon, there will be a floating market, working boats, ex working and converted heritage boats and of course the usual competitions. The theme for 2025 will be the 90 years birthdays for a very large number of working boats, particularly the Star Class Harland and Wolff boats where 66 pairs were launched that year for the Grand Union Canal Carrying Co. Friday 20th June – Hits From The Blitz
A unique feel-good 1940’s show, famous wartime tunes and sing-a-long songs brought to life by the singers and multi-instrumentalists of the Five Star Swing band. Featuring Simone from the latter days of the Ivy Benson Orchestra plus Chris Smith (Jnr) composer and arranger for Glenn Miller’s Brother, Herb and the BBC Radio Big Band.
