Wednesday 5th February – IT Champions
IT Champions offer one-to-one support, problem-solving, and online safety advice for users of the library computers and WiFi. At Croxley Green Library, Barton Way, Croxley Green, WD3 3HB. Wednesdays from 2pm – 3pm.
Thursday 6th February – Cancer Support Group
Cancer Support Group for anyone affected by cancer in a warm and friendly space. First Thursday of the month from 2pm – 4pm, at All Saints’ Church, The Green, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth, WD3 3HJ.
Thursday 6th February – Lego Club
Strictly for children aged 5-12 years. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Thursday from 4.45pm – 5.45pm, at Radlett Library, 1 Aldenham Avenue, Radlett, WD7 8HL. Book at the library.
Friday 7th February- Compassionate Cafe
Compassionate Cafés are a place where people who have experienced a loss, such as a bereavement, can pop in for a cuppa, a cake, and a friendly person to talk to. It provides a safe environment for individuals to come together, have a friendly chat, and connect with others who may share similar experiences. First Friday of each month from 10am – 11am, at The Kitchen, 198 Watford Road, Croxley Green, WD3 3DB.
Friday 7th February – Knit and Natter
The group is for all levels of knitters/crocheters alike, and is free to attend. Just bring your needles and yarn and join in the chat around the table. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided midway through the session, no booking is required, but spaces are limited. Every Friday from 10am – 12 noon. Saturday 8th February – Rickmansworth Parkrun
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate, every Saturday at 9am. The event takes place at Rickmansworth Aquadrome, Frogmoor Lane, Rickmansworth, WD3 1NB. For further information click here

Monday 10th February – Bumps and Babies
Join NCT Watford and guest speaker from Croxley library to tell you about what the Herts library service can offer babies, children and parents. They will also be joined by Emily from Usborne books. Saturday 22nd February – Herons, Egrets and Early Signs of Spring
On this walk, learn about all about the Herons and Egrets that call Stocker’s Lake Nature Reserve home, and look out for the early signs of spring which are starting to show. Under 18s must be accompanied by a adult at all times. Please dress appropriately for the weather! There may be mud/wet ground, so sturdy boots or wellies advised. An unforgettable afternoon of classical guitar magic. Saturday 22nd March – Becoming Dad
An inclusive information session for new and expectant fathers to help them to connect with and understand their babies’ needs. Supported by trained facilitators from the Family Support Service, this session offers expectant and new fathers an informal and relaxed space to talk through any thoughts and challenges dad to dad as they transition into parenthood. Come and Join an afternoon/evening fat this cinema Experience on Chorleywood Common, WD3 5SG. They have a great selection of films for all the family. Bring a picnic or enjoy the various food and drink vendors on site. Seating will not be provided so please bring chairs/blankets/cushions to make sure you have an enjoyable film viewing.
