Friday 28th March – Coffee and Chat

Bring your own memories, stories and photographs to share with the group of growing up in the Garden City. Perhaps you have photographs of your house, your favourite places or where you or a family member worked. Coffee and chat morning, Fridays from 10am at Letchworth Museum, at One Garden City, Broadway, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 3BF (by Morrisons and free to attend).


Friday 28th March – Storytime

These interactive story sessions are perfect for pre-school children to enjoy with their parent/carer. Join in with a mix of picture book stories and rhymes. Fridays from 10.30am – 11am. At Letchworth Library, Broadway, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 3PF.


Saturday 29th March – ParkPlay

ParkPlay is a two-hour long play session of fun and games for everyone every Saturday morning from 10am. At Radburn Way, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 2SB. Activities are relaxed enough to attract the shy and less confident, but structured enough to reassure.


Saturday 29th March – Craft and Gift Fair

Local crafter’s, handmade creations, charity tombola, cakes, refreshments and much more. Fundraising for Luna Animal Rescue. Saturday 29th March from 12 noon – 4pm. At St Thomas Church, 103 Bedford Road, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 4DU.


Monday 31st March – Baby Rhyme Time

These fun, half hour sessions of songs and rhymes are perfect for helping your child to learn language skills and are an opportunity for you to meet other families too. For the comfort and safety of families they may have to limit numbers so entry to a session cannot be guaranteed. Every Monday from 10.15am – 11.15am. At Letchworth Library, Broadway, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 3PF. Until 30th December.


Monday 31st March – Active Rhyme Time

A 45 minute session of fun, active rhymes and songs for your baby and toddler. A great way to meet other families and develop your child‘s communication and physical skills. For children with their parent or carer. Older siblings welcome. £2.50 per family drop in pay on the day. Mondays from 1.30pm – 2.15pm, at Chestnut Tree Family Centre, on Garden city Academy Site, Radburn Way, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 2JZ.


Wednesday 2nd April – Pic N Mix

Join Letchworth Library, Broadway, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 3PF, for refreshments and a chat on the first Wednesday of each month from 10.30am – 12 noon, and make some new friends.


Friday 4th April – Community Dementia Cafe

White House Care Home, Gillison Close, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 1QL,  welcome members of the local community to their monthly Dementia Café. Taking place on the first Friday of every month from 10.30am – 12 noon, their relaxed café offers a safe and supportive setting to socialise with people in similar situations, with our kind and dedicated team on hand. Saturday 5th April – Saturday Stories

Join Letchworth Library, Broadway, Letchworth Garden City SG6 3PF,on the first Saturday of every month for Saturday Stories. A half an hour session, perfect for helping to develop a child’s language skills and meet other families. Free drop in session but donations are welcome. Most suitable for under 8’s. Saturday from 10.30am – 11am.


Monday 7th April – LEGO Club

Monday 7th – Friday 11th April – Easter Animal Encounters

Hop into Easter fun at Standalone Farm, Wilbury Road, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 4JN, for Easter Animal Encounters, a unique 40-minute show running from Monday 7th – Friday 11th April. Hosted by Mark Amey, a lifelong exotic and domestic animal keeper, breeder, zoologist, environmentalist, and conservationist, this hands-on show will allow you to meet a range of fascinating creatures. Mark will guide you through an exciting and educational presentation full of amazing facts. You will have the chance to get up close and personal with the creatures and snap some unforgettable photos. To book click here


Saturday 12th April – Easter Egg Hunt

A fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt, The Cloisters, Barrington Road, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 3TH. Celebrate the spirit of Easter with a joyful search for hidden eggs, each filled with delicious treats and surprises. This family-friendly event is perfect for children and adults alike, their hunt takes place in gardens their history building. Saturday 12th April from 10am – 2pm.


Saturday 12th April – Family Arts

Get creative at this workshops in the Family Arts Studio at the Broadway Gallery, The Arcade, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 3EW. Recommend for 3-10 year olds and they kindly ask for parents and guardians to supervise their children at all times. Monday 14th – Friday 18th April – Easter Chocolate-Making

Join Standalone Farm, Wilbury Road, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 4JN, for a totally tasty workshop where each attendee will make their own Easter-themed lollipop to take home and enjoy, followed by a chocolate talk and tasting. Dawn Fry of the Melting Pot is hosting the event in our barn with her chocolate tanks full of quality Belgian milk chocolate. This hour-long workshop is suitable for ages four and above and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.  Please advise of any allergies prior to booking your tickets. Wednesday 16th April – Create and Chat for Adults

Letchworth Library, Broadway, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 3PF, run a Create and Chat for adults crafting group every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10.30am – 12 noon. It is a free drop-in group. Bring along your own crafting projects and share ideas with like-minded people. They can also help to get you started with knitting, crochet and sewing.


Saturday 19th April – Letchworth Food, Drink and Craft Festival

The Letchworth Food, Drink and Craft Festival is on every third Saturday from 10am – 4pm. At Leys Square, Letchworth.


Tuesday 29th April – Young Adults Craft Group

Monthly craft Group for young adults from 14-24, each month, they will choose a new theme. It is a great way to get creative and meet new people. Friday 6th and Saturday 7th June – Try Festival

A family friendly festival at Letchworth Garden City Rugby Club, Baldock Road, Letchworth Garden City SG6 2EN. 80s, 90s, 00s and Beyond Theme. Live acts, DJs and bands, open air stages, big top tent and dance arenas. Fully licensed bars and award winning food outlets. Kids Family zone with bouncy castles and other entertainment (will be charged separately by vendor, not including in ticket price). Saturday 28th June – Armed Forces Day 

Show Your Support on Saturday 28th June at Armed Forces Day Letchworth held at Broadway Gardens in the Letchworth Town Centre, part of the Letchworth Festival. There will be live action and demonstrations, music and performances, stalls and games, inflatables and food and drink for everyone to enjoy. Saturday 28th June from 10am.
