Thursday 29th May – Baby Rhyme Time

These fun, half hour sessions of songs and rhymes are perfect for helping your child to learn language skills and are an opportunity for you to meet other families too. Thursdays from 9.15am – 9.45am. At Knebworth Community Library, St Martins Road, Knebworth, SG3 6ER.


Thursday 29th May – Games Night

Lost Ark Games have an extensive board game library full of great games to play. Come and play games from their board game library. Bring your own in, meet friends and play. Play a wargame on a big table. Run a Role Playing game with friends. Play Magic: The Gathering or any other TCG. Bring a games console in. hook it up to one of our big TVs and play with your mates.

At Lost Ark Games, 29 Market Place, Stevenage, SG1 1DH. Their front door on the high street is closed from 5pm. Please use their rear entrance which can be found directly opposite the car entrance to the Westgate Multi Storey car park. Please use your sat-nav to find the car park if you are unsure. Every Thursday until at least June 2025 from 6pm – 10pm.


Sunday 1st June – Weekend Stories

Storytime for under 8’s. This is a free, drop-in event at Stevenage Central Library, Southgate, Stevenage, SG1 1HD. Sunday from 2pm – 2.30pm. Every Sunday until the end of the year.


Monday 2nd June – IT Champion

IT Champions offer one-to-one support, problem-solving, and online safety advice for users of the library computers and WiFi. Mondays from 2pm – 4pm, at Stevenage Central Library, Southgate, Stevenage, SG1 1HD.


Tuesday 3rd June – Active Rhyme Time

A 45 minute session of fun, active rhymes and songs for your baby and toddler. A great way to meet other families and develop your child‘s communication and physical skills. For children with their parent or carer. Older siblings welcome. £2.50 per family drop in, pay on the day. Tuesdays from 9.30am – 10.15am. At The Meeting House, 21 Cuttys Lane, Stevenage, SG1 1UP.


Wednesday 4th June – Reading Friends

Join our Reading Friends group on the first Wednesday of every month from 10.30am – 11.45am. Meet people and make new friend, and chat about books, hobbies and interests over a hot drink. At Stevenage Central Library, Southgate, Stevenage, SG1 1HD.


Wednesday 4th June – Board Game Group

The group meet in the front area of Stevenage Central Library, Southgate, Stevenage, SG1 1HD, to play scrabble and other board games. Free drop-in event. Every Wednesday from 2pm – 3.30pm.


Saturday 14th June – Father’s Day Workshop

Come along to the Indoor Market for a creative, family-friendly day to celebrate someone special. Decorate a mug for your dad, carer or loved one. Enjoy free arts and crafts. Make your own personalised card. Event by Stevenage Indoor Market, St Georges Way, SG1 1EP. Saturday 14th June from 11am – 2pm.


Saturday 14th June – Datchworth Village Fete

A traditional, non commercial, not for profit village fete with lots of fun stalls including Spike the Sausage, Splat the Rat, Higher or Lower, Tombola, Lucky Dip, Coconut Shy, Crockery Smash, Books and CD’s, Tea Tent, BBQ, Classic Cars, Tiny T’s Theatre, Arena events and much more. Saturday 21st June – Armed Forces Day

A chance for you to see the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight soar over Stevenage this Armed Forces Day. Join Stevenage Town Centre at Event Island on Saturday 21st June from 10am – 4pm, for a day packed with fun for the whole family. Face painting, Balloon modelling, Live music and more.


Monday 23rd June – In Conversation with Jasper Fforde

Stevenage Central Library, Southgate, Stevenage, SG1 1HD, are delighted to welcome Jasper Fforde to Hertfordshire Libraries as he prepares to publish the much-anticipated Dark Reading Matter later in 2025. It will be book 8 in the epic Thursday Next series, launched with The Eyre Affair in 2001. Friday 1st August – TrackPlay

A fun and entertaining time for kids who love trains. With over 500 feet of Track and over 100 Thomas and his friends trains to choose from. Kids will be raving about the experience for a long time . Thursday 4th September – Paul Zerdin: Jaw Drop Tour


Get ready for a night of laughter and jaw-dropping entertainment with the Paul Zerdin. Saturday 6th September – Wicked Outdoor Cinema Sing-A-Long

A bewitching outdoor cinema experience at Knebworth House, Knebworth Park, Stevenage SG1 2AX, with a Sing-A-Long showing of Wicked. Get your friends, family and loved ones together for some pure entertainment as you watch and singalong with the movie on a huge open-air screen in the stunning grounds of Knebworth House.
