Wednesday 22nd January – Knit and Natter

Friendly board games drop in sessions, no need to book. Bring a friend or just join in. Every Wednesday from 1pm – 3pm, at Hatfield Library, White Lion Square, Hatfield, AL10 0LD.


Wednesday 22nd January – Colouring Club

Colouring Club for adults at Hatfield Library, White Lion Square, Hatfield, AL10 0LD. Materials supplied or bring your own. Drop in, no need to book. Every Wednesday from 1pm – 3pm.


Thursday 23rd January -Baby Group

An opportunity to meet other families with young babies in a supportive, stimulating and friendly environment. During the session you can play, discover more about their development and support your wellbeing. Thursdays from 10am – 11.30am, £1.50 per family drop in, pay on the day. Not on 13th February.


Friday 24th January – IT Champion

IT Champions offer one-to-one support, problem-solving, and online safety advice for users of the library computers and WiFi. Thursdays from 10am – 12 noon. At Hatfield Library, White Lion Square, 26-32 Town Centre, Hatfield, AL10 0LD.


Friday 24th January – Baby Rhyme Time

These fun, half hour sessions of songs and rhymes are perfect for helping your child to learn language skills and are an opportunity for you to meet other families too. Fridays from 10.30am – 11am, at Hatfield Library, White Lion Square, 26-32 Town Centre, Hatfield, AL10 0LD.


Tuesday 28th January – IT Champions

IT Champions offer one-to-one support, problem-solving, and online safety advice for users of the library computers and WiFi. At Hatfield Library, White Lion Square, 26-32 Town Centre, Hatfield, AL10 0LD. Tuesdays from 2pm – 4pm.


Saturday 1st February – Book Swap

Come and swap a book or puzzle, and enjoy a drink and a slice of cake. Saturday 1st February from 10am – 12 noon, at North Mymms Memorial Hall, Station Road, Welham Green, AL9 7PG.


Sunday 2nd February – Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club

Open to all those who served, or who are still serving in HM Armed Forces. They meet on the first Sunday of each month from 10am. At Harpsfield Hall, Parkhouse Court, Hatfield, AL10 9RQ.


Monday 3rd February – Quiz Night

These monthly quiz nights are held on the first Monday of every month from 8pm, at The Red Lion, 88 Great North Road, Hatfield, AL9 5EU. With several rounds of trivia and a picture round, their quiz master will get your brains itching. Teams are a maximum of 6. Booking is not essential but is advised to avoid disappointment.


Thursday 6th February – Sketchbooking

Bring along your sketchbook, paper, pencils, pens and markers for an informal drop-in session. Sessions are free thanks to H’arts in Mind and no prior experience or booking required. First and third Thursday of the month from 11.30am – 1pm. At The Galleria, Comet Way, Hatfield, AL10 0XR.


Wednesday 12th February – Herford Astronomy Group

Your local astronomy club for Hertford, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, St Albans and surrounding area. A Friendly group of people with a common interest in astronomy. A monthly meeting at the University of Hertfordshire, Lindop Building, College Lane, Hatfield, AL10 9AB. They broadcast it live on Zoom for those unable to get to the University and they also publish the meetings on YouTube (subject to the speaker’s consent). Thursday 13th February – Pop up Dental Clinic

Pop up dentist sessions offer a free dental screening for children under 5. After the screening, the dentist will provide you with an age appropriate toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste for your child. Thursday 13th February from 9.30am – 12 noon and 1.30pm – 4pm. At De Havilland Family Centre, Hatfield, AL10 8TQ.


Sunday 2nd March – Antique and Vintage Fair

This huge indoor venue will be packed full of stalls selling all manner of weird and wonderful items. From quality antiques, to vintage fashion, furniture to jewellery, collectables, curios or art. Whether it is that unusual gift or that cool period piece for your home, there really will be something to suit all tastes and budgets. Tuesday 11th March – SEND Walk in Advice

Saturday 13th September – Hatfield House Firework Champions

Prepare for an unforgettable night at the iconic Firework Champions event at Hatfield House, Hatfield AL9 5HX.
