Thursday 29th and Friday 30th May – Dinosaurs in Tring
Enjoy some roaring fun this half term and come to see the dinosaurs in Tring Memorial Garden and the Local History Museum. Thursday 29th and Friday 30th May from 10am – 3pm. Both the Memorial Garden and the Local History Museum will be open for dinosaur hunters, so come along and discover the terrifying triceratops, stegosaurus and many more. Plus, their many brilliant independent shops, cafes and restaurants will be awaiting you. Free entry.

Friday 30th May – Friday Market
Friday Market, Church Square and Mansion Vista, Tring for fruit, veg, cheese, olives, fish, plants, gifts, clothes and even pet treats. Every Friday morning.

Friday 30th May – Baby Rhyme Time
These fun, half hour sessions of songs and rhymes are perfect for helping your child to learn language skills and are an opportunity for you to meet other families too. Every Friday from 10.30am – 11am. At Berkhamsted Library, 185 High Street, Berkhamsted, HP4 3HB.

Sunday 1st June – Berkhamsted Antiques and Vintage Market
Antiques and vintage street market runs on the first Sunday of the month from March until December. Explore the High Street filled with stalls selling an array of antique and vintage items including furniture, records, vintage clothing, books, lighting, mirrors and more. At Berkhamsted High Street, Berkhamsted, HP4 3AP, from 9.30am – 3.30pm.

Sunday 1st June – Eco Hub
Talks from Sunnyside Rural Trust on wildlife and growing your own veg and from the founder of their Food Stories – a community food growing project. They also have a seed swap in collaboration with Sunnyside Rural Trust, as well as the wonderful Parents for Future with a fabulous creative activity for the kids. Monday 2nd June – Kids Boxing Fun
Kids boxing fun every Monday from 6pm – 6.50pm, at Berkhamsted Leisure Centre, Lagley Meadow, Douglas Gardens, Berkhamsted, HP4 3QQ. Ages 8+. Fully trained, insured, First Aid certified and DBS checked coaches. Until at least September 2025.

Monday 2nd June – Board Games
New gamers always welcome, latecomers welcome. They will play shorter board games and party games until either the pub closes or they run out of steam. At The Robin Hood, Brook Street, Tring, HP23 5ED. Monday 2nd June from 7pm.

Tuesday 3rd June – Craft Club
Weekly craft club on Tuesdays from 7pm – 9pm. Bring along any crafts you are doing and spend an evening with likeminded crafty people. It is a great time to share tips. Beginners and experts welcome. Free event, but please buy a drink or food at the bar so they can keep using the venue for free. At The Grand Junction Arms, Tring, HP23 5QE. Until at least 15th July.

Thursday 5th June – Local History Walk
Tim Amsden from Tring town’s Local History Society and Museum has teamed up again with Tring Library, High Street, HP23 4AF, to host two wonderful walks. They will meet at the library, Tim will guide you around the town, and at the end you will enjoy refreshments in the library. It is a free event, any donations will be gratefully received and shared between the library and the museum. Sign up at the library.

Saturday 7th June – Pop Up Bazaar
This Pop Up Bazaar Berkhamsted which is located within the historic building of the town hall, 196 High Street, Berkhamsted, HP4 3AP, Berkhamsted has some amazing independent stall holders who create/make/scour/source/and bring you unique gifts, from 10am – 2pm.

Saturday 7th June – Community Bingo Night
This event is kindly sponsored by Ashridge Karate Academy, all proceeds to the Centre’s refurbishment fund. Donations bar serving soft and alcoholic drinks, with raffle, prizes, everyone welcome for this fun community bingo evening. Wednesday 11th June – Toy Swap
Bring along those toys that your kids no longer play with but are in good condition and swap them for items that will be ‘new to you’ and bring hours of fun to your little ones. Free event, just come along with toys to swap. Wednesday 11th June from 9.30am – 11.30am. At The Baptist Church, 89 High Street, Tring, HP23 4AB.

Wednesday 11th June – Birds and Music
Classical violinist Paul Barritt explores bird calls in this fascinating one-hour session of music and explanations.. Paul’s live violin playing will be accompanied by recorded music and recorded birdsong for a truly unique experience. High Street Baptist Church, Tring, High Street, Tring, HP23 4AB. Friday 13th June – The Railway Comes to Tring
All welcome to this illustrated talk by local historian Wendy Austin talking about the history of the arrival of the railway, Tring railway station and the hamlet of Tring Station. Friday 13th June – Music, Poetry and Storytelling
Join Tring Town Council round the fire pit for an informal evening. Bring instruments, poems, stories or just yourself. Bring something to sit on and your own refreshments. For location use Springwell Vet (HP23 6HA) follow signs when you arrive. Friday 13th June from 8pm.

Saturday 14th June – Tring Farmers Market
Tring Farmers Market began in May 1999 to promote the sale of local food for local people. Since then it has established a reputation as a really friendly shopping experience. All food is either made or grown locally and the people serving you are usually the producers who are willing to answer any questions regarding the products. Saturday from 9am – 12.30pm. The market is on the second and fourth Saturday of the month.

Saturday 14th June – Charity Car Boot Sale
All money from this event will be donated back to local good causes. Saturday 14th June from 10am – 1pm. At Market Square, Brook Street, Tring.

Sunday 15th June – Pop Up Bazaar
Welcoming artists, makers from all walks of life and curate a super cool set of small businesses and creatives at every market. Free entry, Cafe, Dogs Welcome, lots of fantastic stalls to browse. Sunday 15th June from 10am – 2pm. At the Town Hall, 196 High Street, Berkhamsted, HP4 3AP.

Sunday 15th June – Nature Hunt
Join in Berkhamsted’s Great Big Green Week, explore their three acres with interactive resources and guides. A free family event. Sunday 15th June from 10am – 1pm. At Rectory Lane Cemetery, Berkhamsted, HP4 2DH.

Sunday 15th June – Marsworth Steam and Classic Rally
Hundreds of vintage and classic vehicles will be gleaming including some very impressive cars, tractors, commercials and military vehicles. Stunning exhibits aside, there will also be an abundance of activities to keep all entertained. For the little ones and the young at heart the children’s vintage fairground is always a success, and throughout the day there will be various events in the arena, some enabling audience participation, plus their lve band, Pickled Tink, are back.
The Beer and Tea tents will be on hand with a selection of Local Real Ales and hefty slabs of cake, all accompanied by live music. Proceeds from the day help very worthy causes and go towards supporting local charities and community projects in need of a helping hand. Sunday 15th June from 11am – 5pm. Sunday 15th June – Hits From The Blitz
A fabulous evening of nostalgic Famous War-Time tunes and sing-a-long songs brought to life by the singers and multi-instrumentalists of the 1940’s Five Star Swing band. Featuring Simone from the latter days of the Ivy Benson Orchestra plus Chris Smith (Jnr) composer and arranger for Glenn Miller’s Brother, Herb and the BBC Radio Big Band. Sunday 15th June from 6pm. Saturday 21st June – DENS Woodland Trail
Walk or run your choice of 5 or 10-mile routes, while immersing yourself in beautiful woodland and nature on a summer’s day. Starting from the historic setting of Berkhamsted Castle, White Hill, Berkhamsted, HP4 1LJ, you will enjoy well-signed routes and receive a special finisher’s token. Every penny raised at the DENS Woodland Trail will help local individuals and families facing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion. Saturday 21st June. Thursday 26th June – Guided Walk of College Lake
Join a three hour tour around College Lake to find out more about the reserve’s history, geology, and of course wildlife. During this walk, a volunteer guide, will take you on a long walk around the reserve taking you to seasonal highlights. At College Lake, Upper Icknield Way, Bulbourne, Tring, HP23 5QG. Saturday 12th July – Summer Fete
Come and join St. Mary’s Church, Northchurch, High Street, Berkhamsted, HP4 3QN, for this year’s Summer Fete. Entry is free and there is fun for all the family, including bar, BBQ, fun and games, music, crafts, stalls and more. In the grounds of St Mary’s Church, School, the Parish Rooms and the Rectory on Saturday 12th July from 12 noon – 3.30pm.

Saturday 12th July – Summer Carnival Day
Tring’s annual Summer Carnival Day on Saturday 12th July from 12 noon – 5pm on Pound Meadow, London Road, Tring, HP23 5NB. The theme this year is circus and there will be stalls galore, a large entertainment arena with live performances, sheepdog displays, vintage cars and more. Treat yourself to plenty of scrumptious food, sweat treats and refuel at the Tring Brewery bar. More fun can be had at the small children’s fair ground rides and inflatables. Tring Summer Carnival Day is officially opened by the traditional High Street Parade, which will set off just before midday and make its way through Tring town centre to arrive on Pound Meadow.

Friday 12th – Sunday 14th September – Brewfest: Family Funday

Sunday 14th September – The Garden Party
Ashridge Garden Party is a firm favourite If you are looking for some family fun on Sunday 14th September from 12 noon – 5pm. This year sees the return of their circus skills, puppet shows, craft activities and dog show, plus face painting, and sand art , not forgetting the Pimms Tent, ‘Shop Local Village’, and an impressive array of food stalls, including amazing cream teas.
