Monday 21st October – Positive Movement
Join Positive Movement by the Sadie Centre. Award-winning gentle exercises combining Adaptive Yoga, the Alexander Technique, and Mindfulness. For those 60+ with mobility issues or long-term conditions. Enjoy exercise and social time over tea. Mondays from 2pm – 3.30pm, at Baldock Community Centre, Simpson Drive, Baldock, SG7 6DH.

Join Baldock Library, Simpson Drive, Baldock, SG7 6DH, for their weekly Baby Rhyme Time. Wednesdays from 10.30am – 11am. It is free but donations are welcome.

Monday 28th October – Halloween Crafts
Join Baldock Library, Simpson Drive, Baldock, SG7 6DH, for a spooktacular Halloween Craft session. Drop in on Monday 28th October from 10.15am – 4.30pm. £4 per child including two badges and other crafts. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Monday 28th October – Mahjong Club

Join Baldock Library, Simpson Drive, Baldock, SG7 6DH, for a spook-tacular Storytime followed by Halloween Colouring. Free to attend- donations welcome. Fancy dress encouraged. Thursday 31st October from 10.30am – 11am.
Saturday 9th November – Rainbow Craft Fairs
Regular craft fair held Baldock Community Centre, Simpson Drive, Baldock, SG7 6DH. Each event there will have a variety of craft stall holders. Saturday from 11am – 3pm.
Saturday 9th November – Community Fireworks
The Baldock Community Fireworks team are delighted to announce that this years display will be going ahead at a new venue, Letchworth Eagles Football Club, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 2EN. The team have worked hard to ensure that the new venue is as close to the town centre as possible and Eagles’ grounds are located only one mile away from the High Street. Saturday 9th November from 3pm – 10pm.
As in previous years, additional charities and groups will be invited to partner with us also to support their fundraising activities. Other than the display itself, we will have lots of live music to enjoy, the food and drink options and fairground that you have come to expect. Tickets are on sale from 1st September click here
Sunday 10th November – Remembrance Day Parade
The annual Baldock Remembrance Day parade takes place on Sunday 10th November. There will be a short service hosted by Baldock Branch Royal British Legion at the War Memorial in the High Street. They would ask that anyone who would like to attend to please be in place by 10.45am.
Tuesday 26th November – Slipper Swap
Old slippers often cause trips and falls, which could lead to an unnecessary stay in hospital and loss of independence. Older residents can swap their old slippers for a brand-new free pair of anti-slip ones – and find out more about keeping themselves safe and well at the same time. Tuesday 26th November from 10am – 1pm. At Baldock Library, Simpson Drive, Baldock, SG7 6DH. Just come along and library staff will not only be on hand to help you but to introduce you to their services for older people such as information; activities; the Home Library Service, and book a Home Fire Safety visit with the Fire Service.
