Thursday 23rd January – Knit and Natter
Casual meet up of people to do knitting or crochet while having a natter along the way. Refreshments available and donations welcomed. Thursdays from 10am – 11am, at Oxhey Library, Bridlington Road, South Oxhey, WD19 7AG.
Thursday 23rd January – Baby Group
Meet other families with young babies in a supportive, stimulating and friendly environment. During the 90 minute session there will be time for babies to play, discover more about their development and support your wellbeing as a new parent. £1.50 per family pay on the day drop in. Thursday 23rd January – Turning Point: Drop in
Turning Point are dedicated to working with people who need support with their drug and alcohol use, mental health, sexual health, employment, or learning disability. Come and speak to them at a drop-in session at their South Oxhey Healthy Hub, Oxhey Library, Bridlington Road, South Oxhey, WD19 7AG.
Thursday 23rd January – Yoga
This session is exclusively for female participants. All levels are welcome, from beginners to experienced practitioners. They provide additional support for those with hearing, physical, learning, visual impairments, mental health issues, and social or behavioural problems. These fun, half hour sessions of songs and rhymes are perfect for helping your child to learn language skills and are a great opportunity for you to meet other families too. Fridays from 11am – 11.30am, at Bushey Library, Sparrows Herne, Bushey, WD23 1FA.
Saturday 25th January – ParkPlay
ParkPlay is a two-hour long play session of fun and games for everyone every Saturday morning from 10am. At Warren Dell Primary School, Gosforth Lane, Watford Rural, WD19 7UZ. Activities are relaxed enough to attract the shy and less confident, but structured enough to reassure.
Saturday 25th January – Saturday Storytime

Monday 27th January – IT Champion

Monday 27th January – Pilates
Pilates sessions are designed to concentrate on slow and measured movements in order to create lean and stronger muscles. Pilates aims to strengthen the body, with particular emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness and wellbeing. Pilates exercises are done on a mat. These sessions are designed to suit people of all shapes, ages and abilities. A qualified instructors will advise you how the exercises can be adapted to suit your ability. Tuesday 28th January – Active Rhyme Time
A 45 minute session of fun, active rhymes and songs for your baby and toddler. A great way to meet other families and develop your child‘s communication and physical skills. Tuesday 28th January – Zumba
Perfect for those who love to move to the rhythm of energetic music, this activity will have you grooving and burning calories in no time. Compassionate Cafés are drop-in sessions. They provide a space for members of the community who have been affected by any type of loss and would like to come along for a friendly chat and a chance to meet others over a cup of tea. Compassionate Cafés are a place where people who have experienced a loss, such as a bereavement, can pop in for a cuppa, a cake, and a friendly person to talk to. It provides a safe environment for individuals to come together, have a friendly chat, and connect with others who may share similar experiences. A fun and exciting experience for train-loving kids. With over 500 feet of track and more than 100 Thomas and Friends trains to choose from, the kids will be entertained for hours. Choose your preferred time slot and, on the day, relax with a hot drink while the kids have a blast letting their imaginations run wild playing with the trains.
