Have fun at this Children’s Easter Egg Hunt at Reveley Lodge, 88 Elstree Road, Bushey, WD23 4GL. Hunt for chocolate eggs in their two and a half acre garden (ages 4-12) and there is a separate easter egg scramble for age three and under. Come along with your home-made or home-decorated Easter Bonnet  and enter their competition. There are refreshments and the children can make Easter crafts for their doting parents and grandparents (small extra charge). Meet the Easter bunny, try and catch some eggs fired from the Reveley trebuchet or take part in some garden games. Have your photo taken in their giant egg. Saturday 19th April from 10.30am – 1pm. Easter Trail at Bushey King George Recreation Ground on Saturday 19th April from 11am – 1pm. An egg-citing event filled with games, treats, and family fun.


Come along to the coolest disco in town with a playlist of the latest hits and timeless classics that will get everyone on their feet, from the tiniest tots, disco divas and dancing dads to the grooviest grandparents. There will also be a colouring station to unleash the kids’ creativity, and for little ones who want extra sparkle and glow, there will be glitter tattoos and glow sticks (for an additional charge). Available for Members children to be entertained for two whole hours on Easter Sunday by Non Stop Kids Entertainment.
You will need to pop in and put your child’s name down for this Free event. If by beginning of April they have spare spaces then the spaces will go to grandchildren of members. Every child gets a free Easter egg. Sunday 20th April from 3pm – 5pm, at The Labour Club, Henbury Way, South Oxhey, WD19 7AP.


Tuesday 22nd April – Cuppa and Catch Up

Enjoy a cuppa and some company, make new friends, play games and get involved in activities, every second and fourth Tuesday from 10am – 12 noon. At SRMD London Spiritual Centre, Falconer Road, Bushey, WD23 3AD.


Tuesday 22nd April – Active Rhyme Time

A 45 minute session of fun, active rhymes and songs for your baby and toddler. A great way to meet other families and develop your child‘s communication and physical skills. Thursday 24th April – Knit and Natter

Casual meet up of people to do knitting or crochet while having a natter along the way. Refreshments available and donations welcomed. Thursdays from 10am – 11am, at Oxhey Library, Bridlington Road, South Oxhey, WD19 7AG


Thursday 24th April – Baby Group

Meet other families with young babies in a supportive, stimulating and friendly environment. During the 90 minute session there will be time for babies to play, discover more about their development and support your wellbeing as a new parent. £1.50 per family pay on the day drop in. Thursday 24th April – Yoga

This session is exclusively for female participants. All levels are welcome, from beginners to experienced practitioners. They provide additional support for those with hearing, physical, learning, visual impairments, mental health issues, and social or behavioural problems. Friday 25th April – Baby Rhyme Time

These fun, half hour sessions of songs and rhymes are perfect for helping your child to learn language skills and are a great opportunity for you to meet other families too. Fridays from 11am – 11.30am, at Bushey Library, Sparrows Herne, Bushey, WD23 1FA.


Saturday 26th April – Saturday Singing Circle

The Metropolitan Bushey Bowls Club are hosting a series of open days for both new and experienced bowlers. Never played bowls before? No problem. A fun and exciting experience for train-loving kids. With over 500 feet of track and more than 100 Thomas and Friends trains to choose from, the kids will be entertained for hours. Sunday 4th May – VE Day 80th Anniversary

A fantastic afternoon of community spirit, fun, and celebration in King George Recreation Ground, Bushey. Bring a picnic or treat yourself to something tasty from the café while enjoying live music from the wonderful Helen Vintage, bringing you all the classic sounds to mark this special day. There will be plenty to keep the kids entertained, including Bouncy castles, traditional games, glitter tattoos, hook-a-duck, tombola, food and treat stalls. Sunday 4th May from 1pm – 4pm.


Monday 5th May – VE Day Celebration

Wednesday 14th May – Walking Group

Join Bushey Library, Sparrows Herne, WD23 1FA, for their new monthly themed walking group on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 2pm. You can join in with the theme as much or as little as you want or just come along for a stroll and a chat.


Monday 26th May – Family Magic and Comedy Show

This show is has been specifically designed for families and is suitable for all ages. It will leave the younger ones amazed and the older ones thinking “How did he do that?!” This show will will contain comedy, magic, illusions and most importantly Audience Participation. Saturday 28th June – Brewfest

For the first time, all six of the Oxhey village pubs will be participating in the annual celebration of local beers. you will be able to enjoy ale tasting, food, music and entertainment at these local public houses. The Load of Hay, The Railway Arms, The Rifle Volunteer, The Royal Oak, The Victoria and The Villiers Arms.
