Wednesday 26th March – Buggy Walk
Friendly buggy walk meeting every Wednesday from 10.30am, starting at the cafe in Cedars Park, Theobalds Lane, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, EN8 8RX.

Thursday 27th March – IT Champion
IT Champions offer one-to-one support, problem-solving, and online safety advice for users of the library computers and WiFi. Every Thursday from 12 noon – 2pm. At Hoddesdon Library, 98A High Street, Hoddesdon, EN11 8HD.

Thursday 27th March – Board Games
Join Cheshunt library, Turners Hill, Cheshunt, EN8 8LB, for some relaxed and friendly board games fun. They have a range of exciting games to choose from. Feel free to bring drinks and snacks, for ages 18+ No need to book, just turn up. Every Thursday from 2pm – 3pm.

Friday 28th March – Street Food Heroes
Street Food Heroes are at Halsey Hall, Turners Hill, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, EN8 8NJ, on Friday 28th March from 4pm – 9pm. Burgers and hotdogs, Indian street food, waffles and ice cream, Caribbean soul food and more.

Saturday 29th March – ParkPlay
ParkPlay is a national project that runs every Saturday from 10am – 12 noon. and is completely free to attend. They aim to encourage families to participate together across generations and get involved in game activities. All their games are inclusive and can be played across a range of ages in a way that keeps thing safe and most importantly fun for all the family.

Active rhymes and songs for your baby and toddler. A great way to meet with other families and develop your child’s communication and physical skills. Monday 31st March – Baby Rhyme Time
Baby Rhyme Time at Cheshunt Library, Turners Hill, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, EN8 8LB, is half an hour of songs and rhymes for you to enjoy with your little one. Every Monday from 10am – 10.30am and 11am -11.30am. Booking at the library is essential as spaces are limited.

Tuesday 1st April – Baby Group
An opportunity to meet other families with young babies in a supportive, stimulating and friendly environment. During the session you can play, discover more about their development and support your wellbeing. Tuesdays from 1pm – 2.30pm. At The Ark Family Centre, Hoddesdon, EN11 8HT. Chargeable £1.50 drop in, no booking necessary, pay on the day.

Tuesday 1st April – Reading Group for Adults
Join this reading group for adults which meets every first Tuesday of the month at 4.45pm – 5.45pm. At Hoddesdon Library, 98A High Street, Hoddesdon, EN11 8HD.

Wednesday 2nd April – Guided walk around RSPB Rye Meads
Come along on the first Wednesday of each month for an informal guided walk around RSPB Rye Meads and witness the diversity of wildlife that calls the reserve home. If you would like to learn more about the reserve, would like support with wildlife ID, have questions about binoculars or telescopes, or would simply enjoy exploring nature in a social setting, then this is for you. Please arrive at 11.45 ready to begin the walk at 12.00. Non-member parking charges are not included in the event price (£4 per car).
Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear should be worn. Please bring along a drink and/or snack for the walk. Our Café Lite facilities will also be open should you want a hot or cold drink and a bite to eat after. Sunday 6th April – Great Amwell Car Boot Sale
Completely flat, picturesque grassy field. Suitable for mobility scooters, wheelchairs and buggies. Fun for the kids with slides, bouncy castles and miniature rides every week. Wednesday 9th April – One Zoo Three Meet and Greet
Hertfordshire Zoo, White Stubbs Lane, Broxbourne, EN10 7QA, have a special meet and greet event. Join Aaron, Tyler, and Cam, stars of CBBC’s One Zoo Three, who will be meeting fans on Wednesday 9th April from 1.45pm. Friday 11th April – Pop Up Dentist
A free dental screening for children under 5. After the screening, the dentist will provide you with an age appropriate toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste for your child. No booking required. Saturday 12th April – Spring Fayre and Heritage Day
Come along to this annual Spring Fayre and Heritage Day event filled with children’s rides, a vintage bus, stalls, entertainment throughout the day and lots more. It is a great family day out. Saturday 12th April from 10am – 5pm, at Hoddesdon Town Centre.

Saturday 12th – Monday 21st April – Aladdin
For five days only with two shows a day the British pantomimes team will be presenting the magical story of Aladdin. Their 1pm and 4pm shows, will be running throughout the Easter Holidays. Running for five exclusive dates: April 12th, 13th, 18th, 19th, and 21st April. This 60-minute spectacular promises laughter, magic, and adventure from start to finish. Sunday 13th April – Peter Rabbit™
Hop along to Hertfordshire Zoo, White Stubbs Lane, Broxbourne, EN10 7QA, this April for two special Peter Rabbit™ character days, taking place on Sunday 13th and 20th April at regular Intervals between 10am – 3.30pm. Join Peter Rabbit for a delightful day of fun, featuring captivating narrations of his beloved stories. Kids will have the chance to see Peter Rabbit, making it a picture-perfect day out. Saturday 26th April – St George’s Day Family Fun Day
Join Broxbourne Council for the St George’s Day celebration with activities and entertainment for all the family. On Grundy Park, previous events have included a re-enactment of the St George’s legend, Morris dancing, tug-of-war, inflatables, Puppet show, climbing wall, stalls and much more. Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th April – Tapir and Capybara Weekend
Join Hertfordshire Zoo, White Stubbs Lane, Broxbourne, EN10 7QA, on Saturday 26th and Sunday the 27th April for their Tapir and Capybara Weekend. This weekend will be dedicated to celebrating all three species at the Zoo, with funds raised during the weekend going towards vital animal conservation.
