On now until – Monday 21st April – Easter Activity Trail

The Easter Bunny has hidden letters in shop-fronts around Cheshunt, It is your job to find all of the letters and complete the secret Easter themed phrase. Every completed trail form wins an Easter Surprise. Pick up a Trail Form from LMA Studios, Dobsons or Cheshunt Library.


Tuesday 22nd April – Baby Group

An opportunity to meet other families with young babies in a supportive, stimulating and friendly environment. During the session you can play, discover more about their development and support your wellbeing. Tuesdays from 1pm – 2.30pm. At The Ark Family Centre, Hoddesdon, EN11 8HT. Chargeable £1.50 drop in, no booking necessary, pay on the day.


Wednesday 23rd April – Buggy Walk

Friendly buggy walk meeting every Wednesday from 10.30am, starting at the cafe in Cedars Park, Theobalds Lane, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, EN8 8RX.


Thursday 24th April – Board Games

Join Cheshunt library, Turners Hill, Cheshunt, EN8 8LB, for some relaxed and friendly board games fun. They have a range of exciting games to choose from. Feel free to bring drinks and snacks, for ages 18+ No need to book, just turn up. Every Thursday from 2pm – 3pm.


Saturday 26th April – St George’s Day Family Fun Day

Join Broxbourne Council for the St George’s Day celebration with activities and entertainment for all the family. On Grundy Park, previous events have included a re-enactment of the St George’s legend, Morris dancing, tug-of-war, inflatables, Puppet show, climbing wall, stalls and much more. Free swimming and selected activities inside the Laura Trott Leisure Centre also available. Saturday 26th April from 12 noon.


Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th April – Tapir and Capybara Weekend

Join Hertfordshire Zoo, White Stubbs Lane, Broxbourne, EN10 7QA, on Saturday 26th and Sunday the 27th April for their Tapir and Capybara Weekend. This weekend will be dedicated to celebrating all three species at the Zoo, with funds raised during the weekend going towards vital animal conservation. To book click here


Sunday 27th April – Great Amwell Car Boot Sale

Completely flat, picturesque grassy field. Suitable for mobility scooters, wheelchairs and buggies. Fun for the kids with slides, bouncy castles and miniature rides every week. Huge variety of first-class hot food catering, all with large comfortable seating areas. Every Sunday from 9am at Hillside Farm, Pepper Hill, Great Amwell, SG12 9RZ. Monday 28th April – Baby Rhyme Time

Baby Rhyme Time at Cheshunt Library, Turners Hill, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, EN8 8LB, is half an hour of songs and rhymes for you to enjoy with your little one. Every Monday from 10am – 10.30am and 11am -11.30am. Booking at the library is essential as spaces are limited.


Monday 5th May – VE Day Celebration

Come along to Halsey Hall, Turners Hill, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, EN8 8NJ, to celebrate VE Day, with 1940’s style entertainment and street food. Monday 5th May from 12 noon – late.


Wednesday 7th May – Guided walk around RSPB Rye Meads 

Come along on the first Wednesday of each month for an informal guided walk around RSPB Rye Meads and witness the diversity of wildlife that calls the reserve home.  If you would like to learn more about the reserve, would like support with wildlife ID, have questions about binoculars or telescopes, or would simply enjoy exploring nature in a social setting, then this is for you. Please arrive at 11.45 ready to begin the walk at 12.00. Non-member parking charges are not included in the event price (£4 per car).

Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear should be worn. Please bring along a drink and/or snack for the walk. Our Café Lite facilities will also be open should you want a hot or cold drink and a bite to eat after. Saturday 24th May – Century of Literature

Step back in time with Hoddesdon Library, High Street, Hoddesdon, EN11 8HD, as they celebrate a century of literature. Meet characters from their Centenary film, explore their 1920s corner, and borrow books the old-fashioned way. Saturday 24th May from 9am – 12 noon.


Sunday 25th May – Dog Show
