Wednesday 22nd January – Golden Dance Fit

Step into the rhythm and let your body groove with this Golden Dance Fit sessions. This lively dance fitness class is perfect for those looking to have a blast while breaking a sweat. Thursday 23rd January – Storytime

Thursday 23rd January – IT Champion

IT Champions offer one-to-one support, problem-solving, and online safety advice for users of the library computers and WiFi. Every Thursday from 2pm – 4pm, at Borehamwood Library, 96 Shenley Road, Borehamwood, WD6 1EB.


Thursday 23rd January – Knit and Natter

Free knitting session in a friendly relaxed environment. All abilities and ages welcome. Thursdays from 3pm – 5pm, at Radlett Library, 1 Aldenham Avenue, Radlett, WD7 8HL.


Friday 24th January – Creative Community Cafes

Creative Community Cafes are open to you in Borehamwood and Radlett for crafting with free refreshments. Bring your current project, meet new friends with similar interests, and chat about your hobbies. At Organ Hall, 37 Bairstow Close, Borehamwood, WD6 4TB, on Fridays from 10am – 2pm. Saturday 25th January – Adult Parkrun 

Adult parkrun at Aldenham Country Park, Aldenham Road, Radlett, Borehamwood, WD6 3BA, every Saturday from 9am. Completely free and accessible to all, it is a 5k race for all the family. At Simply visit their website and sign up click here


Saturday 25th January – Parkplay

ParkPlay is a national project that runs every Saturday from 10am – 12 noon. and is completely free to attend. They aim to encourage families to participate together across generations and get involved in game activities. All their games are inclusive and can be played across a range of ages in a way that keeps thing safe and most importantly fun for all the family. There are no age restrictions to any of their projects but say if they can walk, they can play. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Saturday 25th January – Gulls Galore

As light begins to fade this time of year, the open water attracts thousands and thousands of gulls of different species, this is your chance to see the spectacle in action in a private nature reserve. Join Wildlife Officer Josh and local experts to learn why they come here and how to tell which gull is which (they are not all ‘seagulls’). The event will include a tour of part of the reserve, before you settle down to watch the spectacle with a cup of hot chocolate. Bring binoculars or a field telescope if you have them and Josh will also have a telescope you can make use of. They will also look for other wetland birds over the water. Sunday 26th January – Farmers and Craft Market

The Town Council runs a monthly Farmers’ and Craft Market on the 4th Sunday of each month from 10am – 2pm, at Brook Road Car Park, Borehamwood, WD6 5HQ. A mixture of stalls including fresh fruit & vegetables, meats, breads, cheeses, crafts, gifts and other exciting products from local small businesses.


Monday 27th January – Warm Spaces

St. Michael and All Angels, Brook Road, Borehamwood, WD6 5EQ, welcome you every Monday and Thursday for tea and coffee and hot meals.


Monday 27th January – Tai Chi

Immerse yourself in the graceful movements of this ancient martial art, designed to promote relaxation and inner peace. This session is exclusively for female participants of all ages and abilities. They welcome individuals with various additional support needs, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment for all. Mondays from 12 noon – 1pm until 31st March. Monday 27th January – Jump In Elstree SEN 

Everyone should be able to experience the joy of bouncing in an environment they feel comfortable in. Jump In SEN sessions are perfect for autism groups and for parents looking for activities in a calmer environment. These sessions are capped (less people), no music and reduced lighting to avoid glare. Every Monday until at least the end of March 2025 from 6pm – 7pm. Tuesday 28th January – Baby Group

Meet other families with young babies in a supportive, stimulating and friendly environment. During the 90 minute session there will be time for babies to play, discover more about their development and support your wellbeing as a new parent. £1.50 per family drop in pay on the day. Tuesday 28th January – Aqua Zumba

Dive into a high-energy Aqua Zumba session that combines the invigorating moves of Zumba with the resistance of water. Compassionate Cafés are a place where people who have experienced a loss, such as a bereavement, can pop in for a cuppa, a cake, and a friendly person to talk to. It provides a safe environment for individuals to come together, have a friendly chat, and connect with others who may share similar experiences. Every Wednesday from 10am – 12 noon, at Loaves and Fishes Café, Christ Church Little Heath, Great North Rd, Potters Bar, EN6 1JN.


Wednesday 5th February – Family Fun

Fun sessions with a wide range of activities for you and your children to play together, meet other local families and the Family Centre team. As well as lots for Under 5’s to enjoy, there will be activities for siblings up to the age of 8. £2.50 per family pay on the day drop in. Wednesdays from 10.30am – 12 noon. Thursday 6th February – Alzheimer’s Society Information Drop-In

Alzheimer’s Society is hosting monthly Information Drop-In sessions for anyone who is experiencing memory loss, concerns about dementia, post diagnostic support for dementia and more. The sessions will take place at the Maxwell Community Centre, Maxwell Road, Borehamwood, WD6 1JJ, on the first Thursday of each month from 10am – 12 noon. You can expect a listening ear, advice, literature, information, signposting and more.

Friday 21st February – The Dinosaur That Pooped

Adapted from the number 1 best-selling books by Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter, the whole family will have a poopy good time enjoying a brand, new story for the stage. Featuring new songs by Tom and Dougie. When Danny and Dino’s favourite rock band are playing their last ever concert, they go on a quest to get the last two tickets, but with a villainous band manager lurking, nothing goes to plan. Sunday 23rd February – Teddy Bears’ Picnic

This show is full of songs, games, stories, fun and laughter and is suitable for under-5s, mums, dads, grandmas and grandads and teddy bears. Everyone is encouraged to bring their teddy bears along with them as there will be prizes for the biggest, smallest, oldest and friendliest. Saturday 8th March – Elstree Con Star Wars and Sci-fi Day 

Get ready for an epic day of excitement as two conventions in one are bought together. Spread across two massive halls, this double-feature event is a dream come true for Star Wars and sci-fi fans. Thursday 11th September –  Paul Zerdin – Jaw Drop Tour


Get ready for a night of laughter and jaw-dropping entertainment with the Paul Zerdin. As a former America’s Got Talent winner, Paul promises an evening of top-notch stand-up comedy and ventriloquism, including his famous human dummy routine with an exciting new twist.
