Tuesday 21st May – Adult Lego Club

Join this Adult Lego Club. Come along for fun challenges, free building and share your own creations from home. Cost is £4 per session. It’s a drop in session with no need to book. The CAB will be at Baldock Library, Simpson Drive, Baldock, SG7 6DH, every Wednesday from 10.30am – 12 noon until at least the end of the year, for advice and sign-posting.


Wednesday 22nd May – Baby Rhyme Time

Join Baldock Library, Simpson Drive, Baldock, SG7 6DH, for their weekly Baby Rhyme Time. Wednesdays from 10.30am – 11am. It is free but donations are welcome.


Thursday 23rd May – Game On

Board games and LEGO Club for adults, join in or just chat over a cuppa. For all ages, free admission but donations welcome. Every Thursday from 10.30am – 12 noon. At Baldock Library, Simpson Drive, Baldock, SG7 6DH.


Friday 24th May – Fun Quiz Night

Fundraising quiz night with lots of fun and excitement and help support local animals in need. Friday 24th May from 7pm – 10pm. At Letchworth Golf Club, Letchworth Lane, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 3NQ.


Saturday 25th May – Community Surgery

Join North Herts Council on Saturday 25th May from 10.30am – 12 noon for the Baldock Community Surgery. It is a fantastic opportunity to discuss any matters of interest or concern with your Councillors. At Tesco, High Street, Baldock.


Tuesday 28th May – PCSO Surgery

Monthly PCSO Surgery to ask questions and advice. At Baldock Library, Simpson Drive, Baldock, SG7 6DH. Tuesday 23rd April from 10.30am – 12 noon.


Wednesday 29th May – History Nature Walk

Join a gentle walk, of approximately an hour, around Letchworth. They will be using old maps and plans to look at where trees were planted, and discover if they are there now and what they look like. There will be refreshments in the Library after the walk. All the family can come along. Meet at Letchworth Library, Broadway, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 3PF. Tickets are available in the Library. Wednesday 29th May – Tiny Mites Music Presents: Cave Girl

With engaging puppets, original songs, lots of interaction and great dance moves to join in with, this production of Cave Girl will be a fun experience for children aged 1-10 and their families. Wednesday 29th May – Saturday 1st June – Beauty and The Beast

You are invited to step into the enchanted world of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Broadway Musical, produced in 37 countries worldwide and is based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film, this stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. Including “Be our Guest and of course the title song “Beauty and the Beast”.

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. At St Christopher School Theatre, Letchworth, SG6 3JZ. Saturday 1st June – Weston Hills Walk

Join curator Keith on this fascinating walk exploring the historic Weston Hills. You will find Roman roads and quarries, medieval lime kilns, prehistoric monuments and 1940s bomb craters, as well as the largest unimproved chalk grassland in Hertfordshire all in the hills of South Baldock. This tour does involve slopes and muddy paths, so be prepared for slightly challenging conditions. Meet in the car park behind Tesco, off Baldock High Street. Saturday 1st June from 1.30pm. Monday 3rd June – Baby Rhyme Time

These fun, half hour sessions of songs and rhymes are perfect for helping your child to learn language skills and are an opportunity for you to meet other families too. For the comfort and safety of families they may have to limit numbers so entry to a session cannot be guaranteed. Every Monday from 10.30am – 11am. Join Letchworth Library, Broadway, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 3PF, at their Create and Chat group. Meeting on the third Wednesday of every month from 10.30am. Bring along your crafting projects and share ideas over a cuppa. Or they can help you learn to knit, crochet or sew. It is free to join in but donations are always welcome.


Saturday 29th June – Rainbow Craft Fairs

Regular craft fair held Baldock Community Centre, Simpson Drive, Baldock, SG7 6DH. Each event there will have a variety of craft stall holders. Saturday 29th June from 11am – 3pm.


Saturday 6th July – Vegan Market

The Letchworth Garden City event takes over Leys Square, right in the centre of the town, on Saturday 6th July from 10.30am – 4pm. The event brings together a huge variety of vegan street food vendors, artisan bakers, craft brewers, ethical jewellers, sustainable chandlers, local artists, zero-waste champions, environmental charities and loads more.


Saturday 13th July – Little People Love Letchworth

A family festival aimed at under 5s and their families. Join a day or community, nature and discovery with live acts, workshops, art and crafts and music. Saturday 13th July from 10am – 4pm.
