Friday 18th September – Herts Musical Memories
Herts Musical Memories sessions bring people together through the power of music, memories and singing. Whether you are living with dementia, supporting a loved one, or simply enjoy singing and meeting new people, these friendly sessions are a wonderful opportunity to sing along, share memories and enjoy time together. Sunday 20th September – Yiewsley and West Drayton Band
Yiewsley and West Drayton Band, have been performing since 1890 and are a third-section brass band based in the Borough of Hillingdon. They will be playing at the Cassiobury Park bandstand on Sunday 20th September from 3pm – 5pm. Free event and recommend bringing a chair or blanket.

Monday 21st September – Watford Palace Theatre Open Mic
Tiger Jazz return to host the popular Watford Palace Theatre Open Mic. This new monthly event has a rotation of local hosts, for an evening of music, poetry and stellar entertainment as well as a good old fashioned jazz jam. This event is free / pay what you can. Sunday 4th October – The Taylor Trek
The Taylor Trek unites Watford FC fans, legends, families, and supporters to honour Graham Taylor’s legacy for the fifth year running, while raising money for two local charities. Participants will walk around Watford, explore key sites from Hornets history, and cross the finish line at Vicarage Road Stadium. Sunday 4th October – The Dial Up
Join the Dial Up for a fantastic afternoon of performance and open mic. If you are looking for a friendly and welcoming space to share your music, poetry, prose, drama, comedy, magic or dance, or just want a couple of hours of entertainment, then The Dial Up is the place for you. Friday 9th October – Black History Month Dial Up Open Mic
The Watford Pump House is proud to host a Dial Up Open Mic in celebration of Black History Month. They want to throw the doors of the Pump House wide open so this is a free event, with a suggested donation of £5 at the door for those who feel able to pay. As ever, they will celebrate community and creativity in all their forms, so whether you are Black, White, Asian, Minority Ethnic, Mixed or however you identify, they welcome you to join them for this joyful occasion. Monthly get together for LGBTQ+ people of all ages, genders and sexualities. Looking for a social circle of like-minded people? Fed up with being stereotyped? They provide a fun and friendly environment for all LGBTQ+ members to come and hang out, chat and chill together with other like-minded people in the community. Monday 26th – Friday 30th October – Trick or Treat Trail
This trail is completely free to attend, simply wander through Watford High Street and The Parade in search of ten large inflatable ghosts, they will be displayed in shop windows during half term week. When you find a ghost in the shop window, step inside and say Trick or Treat, to a member of staff to receive your sweet treat. Halloween fancy dress is encouraged. Tuesday 27th October – Dinosaur Adventure Live
Dinosaur Adventure Live brings an electrifying fusion of family-friendly storytelling, stunning puppetry, and roarsome science that brings the ancient world of dinosaurs crashing back to life. The show blends humour, thrills, and hands-on learning into an interactive stage experience that had children squealing with delight and parents beaming from ear to ear. Children are encouraged to stomp, roar, and swish their tails along with the action, and when the T-Rex finally bursts onto the stage in a heart-pounding finale, well you will have to find out. Thursday 29th October – An evening with Tottenham Legends
an unforgettable evening with Glenn Hoddle, Chris Waddle, Ossie Ardiles and Steve Perryman, four icons of Tottenham Hotspur. Relive one of the most celebrated eras in Spurs history as these legendary players take you behind the scenes of life at White Hart Lane. From unforgettable matches and title challenges to dressing room stories and personal insights, this is a rare opportunity to hear directly from the players who lived it. Saturday 31st October – Trick or Treat Show
Watford Town Centre presents a spooktacular street trick or treat show on The Parade, Watford. Bring your friends and family along and be prepared for an evening of free street performances including Halloween-themed dances and an enthralling contortionist. Rock up in your best Halloween costume to be in with the chance of winning Watford Gift Cards. Saturday 31st October from 5pm – 6pm.

Sunday 1st November – Diwali Celebration
Diwali in Watford Town Centre promises to be a day full of creativity, colour, culture, community and celebration, with events taking place at venues across Watford including Watford High Street, Harlequin Charter Place, Watford Palace Theatre and Pondside. Free daytime activities include Diya making, Cultural performances, Festival of Light Parade and Rangoli Lighting Ceremony. Sunday 1st November from 11am – 7.30pm.

Saturday 7th November – Cassiobury Fireworks
Hertfordshire’s largest free fireworks display organised by Watford Borough Council. Saturday 7th November. Vibe 107.6FM will be keeping the crowds entertained on stage from 6pm with live music. The spectacular fireworks display will start at 7.30pm. There will be a variety of food and drink outlets, kiddies funfair rides, bungee trampolines and a bouncy slide to keep everyone well fed and entertained before the main display. Watford Lions Club and other collectors will be shaking their buckets raising money for charity so do please give generously. 100% of donations go to local charities. There is no parking in the Gade Avenue car park from 3pm, apart from a limited number of blue badge spaces, which are available on a first come first served basis. There are parking restrictions on surrounding roads to the park from 7am – 11pm, so you are advised to park in one of the public car parks in the town centre.

Thursday 12th November – Fire Walk

When the fire has burned to red-hot embers it is raked level and prepared for the walk. Rhythm of the Dance celebrates 27 years of bringing worldwide audiences to their feet and returns to the UK with a brand new Christmas production in 2026. Saturday 21st November – Christmas Lights Switch-On
Get ready for a magical start to the festive season as Watford Town Centre’s Christmas Lights Switch-On returns on Saturday 21 November from 4pm – 6pm. Enjoy an exciting afternoon of live entertainment on stage, featuring wonderful Christmas performances for the whole family. At 5pm, gather together for the big moment as Watford’s Christmas tree is switched on and the town centre sparkles with magical new lights for 2026. Watford Palace Theatre proudly presents a spectacular, sparkly, laugh-out-loud panto remix of Dickens’ classic tale, with a proper Watford twist. Thursday 7th January – Baby Rhyme Time
These fun, half hour sessions of songs and rhymes are perfect for helping your child to learn language skills and are a great opportunity for you to meet other families too. Baby Rhyme Time is free although donations are welcome. No booking required. For the comfort and safety of families they may have to limit numbers so entry to a session cannot be guaranteed.
