Sunday 22nd December – Christmas Sing-Along Concert
Embrace the festive season and come together at Ware Priory on Sunday 22nd December from 3.30pm – 5.30pm, for their magical Sing- along concert with Ware Brass held in the Priory grounds. Warm layers recommended, mince pies and mulled wine will be available with proceeds going to the Mayor’s charity. In the event of rain the concert will be held in doors. Free entry. Note timings are subject to change depending on the weather, if held indoors the concert will take place from 3pm – 5pm. At Ware Priory, High Street, Ware, SG12 9AL.
Monday 30th December – Colouring and Craft Club for Adults
Join Ware Library, 41-45 High Street, Ware, SG12 9BA, for their Colouring and Craft Club for Adults. Their friendly staff will provide free tea and coffee, a warm welcome and lots of colouring resources to keep you busy while you relax and chat. Monday from 10.30am – 12 noon. Every two weeks next 13th January.
Wednesday 1st January – Community Cafe
Come along to this monthly friendly café. Join like-minded members of the community and enjoy a complimentary coffee and cake whilst sharing experiences and meeting the friendly team at Snowdrop House Care Home, Baldock Street, Ware, SG12 9DT. Until at least June 2025. Wednesday 1st January from 10.30am – 12 noon, next February 5th, March 5th, April, 2nd, May 7th and June 4th.
Wednesday 1st January – Guided Walk at Rye Meads
An informal guided walk around RSPB Rye Meads, witness the diversity of wildlife that calls the reserve home at this time of year. Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear should be worn. Please bring along a drink and/or snack for the walk. The Café Lite facilities will also be open should you want a hot or cold drink and a bite to eat after. It is recommend bringing your own binoculars if you have them, or they can be hired from the Visitor Centre for £5. Wednesday 1st January from 12 non – 2pm. Friday 3rd January – Ware Country Market
Weekly Country Market with plenty of goods on offer from local bakers, producers and makers all under one roof. Fridays from 9am – 12 noon. At Leaside Church and Community Centre, High Street, Ware, SG12 9BT.
Friday 3rd January – Board Games Club
Weekly adult Board Games Club at Ware Library, High Street, Ware, every Friday 2pm – 3.30pm. Meet new people and bring out your competitive streak. Until at least end of September 2025.
Saturday 4th January – Epiphany Carol Concert

Tuesday 7th January – Baby Rhyme Time

Saturday 11th January – Mosaic and Resin Art Workshop
A unique opportunity to discover the perfect blend of creativity and craftsmanship in this exclusive workshop, where you will master two incredible art techniques and learn from two professionals. You will create a stunning eye-catching mirror, beautifully enhanced with mosaics, alcohol ink and resin. All materials are included, and complimentary refreshments will be provided. Sunday 19th January – Farmers’ Market
Monthly Farmers Market at Tudor Square, Ware, SG12 9XF, with an array of stalls offering quality food and drink, made locally by small independent producers and businesses. Held on the 3rd Sunday of the month, every market will have a twist or theme. Pop by and pick up something delicious, enjoy food demonstrations and live music. Sunday from 10am – 1pm.
Sunday 19th January – Equine Table Top Sale and Dog Show

Sunday 26th January – Chair Upcycling Workshop
Take part in this full day workshop that will teach you everything a beginner needs to know about how to upcycle furniture like a pro. You will be taken through each step of the upcycling journey, from prep to planning to painting learning how to revive your old worn out furniture and bring it a new lease of life, whilst also doing your part in recycling.
