Friday 3rd January – New Year Fun Days
Let’s Play are delivering Fun Days at William Penn Leisure Centre, Shepherds Lane, Mill End, Rickmansworth, WD3 8JN, on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd January. Open to children aged 5-12, activities include Swimming, Multi-Sports, Arts ‘n Crafts, Nerf Wars, Laser Tag, Performing Arts, Bouncy Castle, Gaming, Lego Building and so much more. From 9am – 4pm. Friday 3rd January – Knit and Natter
The group is for all levels of knitters/crocheters alike, and is free to attend. Just bring your needles and yarn and join in the chat around the table. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided midway through the session, no booking is required, but spaces are limited. Every Friday from 10am – 12 noon. Friday 3rd January – Compassionate Cafe
Compassionate Cafés are a place where people who have experienced a loss, such as a bereavement, can pop in for a cuppa, a cake, and a friendly person to talk to. It provides a safe environment for individuals to come together, have a friendly chat, and connect with others who may share similar experiences. First Friday of each month from 10am – 11am, at The Kitchen, 198 Watford Road, Croxley Green, WD3 3DB.
Saturday 4th January – Rickmansworth Parkrun
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate, every Saturday at 9am. The event takes place at Rickmansworth Aquadrome, Frogmoor Lane, Rickmansworth, WD3 1NB. For further information click here
Saturday 4th January – Winter Wildfowl Workshop
Learn all about the wildfowl that call Stocker’s Lake Nature Reserve home in the winter time. The workshop will start with a presentation at Mill End Hall, before heading out to Stocker’s Lake for a walk to use what you have learnt. They expect the walk to be about 2-3 miles. Monday 6th January – Cafe O

Tuesday 7th January – Nattercraft
Come and have a chat and a laugh whilst getting stuck into a craft or activity. You can bring your own activity/craft or get stuck in with ones provided. Tuesdays from 10am – 12 noon.

Wednesday 8th January – Memory Cafe

Wednesday 8th January – IT Champions
IT Champions offer one-to-one support, problem-solving, and online safety advice for users of the library computers and WiFi. At Croxley Green Library, Barton Way, Croxley Green, WD3 3HB. Wednesdays from 2pm – 3pm.
Thursday 9th January – The Proper Blokes Club
The Proper Blokes Club is for men in need of a talk, a community project for men’s mental health. The main aim is to break the stigma of men’s mental health and start talking openly about it. Come along to Mill End Community Centre, Church Lane, Mill End, Rickmansworth, WD3 8HD. Thursday 9th January from 2pm – 6pm. Next is 23rd January.

Sunday 12th January – Musical Theatre Singing Masterclass
Join CKTS for a Musical Theatre Singing Masterclass led by professional vocal coach Sarah Tattersall. Monday 13th January – Bumps and Babies
join other new parents for a chat and a have hot drink made for you by volunteers. This month NCT Watford will be joined by experts Emily and Zara from local Stork and the Bees Sling and Real Nappy library to give you information on these products and tell you about their services. On this walk, learn about all about the Herons and Egrets that call Stocker’s Lake Nature Reserve home, and look out for the early signs of spring which are starting to show. Under 18s must be accompanied by a adult at all times. Please dress appropriately for the weather! There may be mud/wet ground, so sturdy boots or wellies advised. Thursday 6th March – Jesus Christ Superstar
Jesus Christ Superstar returns to its roots with this sensational performance filmed in the UK during the Live Arena Tour.
