A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog or run. The event takes place at Leavesden Country Park, College Rd, Abbots Langley, WD5 0NX. Every week they grab a post parkrun coffee at the Woodlands Cafe in the park. Every Saturday from 9am, for further information click here

Sunday 8th November – Remembrance Sunday
Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life. Join All Saints Church, All Saints Crescent, WD25 0LU at 9am for a service in person and live streamed. Then at 10.45am for the Civic Service at the War Memorial High Road Leavesden.
Wednesday 11th November – Textile Group

Friday 20th November – Big Quiz
Come and join an afternoon of sheer entertainment at Kings Langley Community Centre, The Nap, WD4 8ET. Friday 20th November from 2pm – 4pm. Cost includes Scones, cakes and refreshments. Friday 20th November – DENS Sleepout
Take on a challenge with a real purpose. Give up your home comforts and spend a night sleeping outside to make a difference for local people facing homelessness, who have nowhere left to turn. Bring together your friends, family, business or community group and raise funds for DENS’ vital services, offering preventative support, crisis intervention and an empowering pathway forward for vulnerable people in the community. Secure, covered sleeping area, receive a Welcome Pack and fundraising support. Live music, games, crafts and more. Street food vendors and tasty treats. Hear stories about DENS’ life-changing work and free breakfast for all participants. Friday 20th November from 7.30pm – 8am, at The Dock, Station Road, Kings Langley, WD4 8LZ. A fabulous market full of locally made and grown produce. Find this wonderful local produce market in The Village Garden during the warmer months and All Saints Kings Langley Church / Hall, Church Lane, Kings Langley, WD4 8JS, in the cooler months. Every third Saturday from 9am – 12.30pm.
Friday 11th December – Christmas Fair
Expect an afternoon full of festive fun with Santa’s Grotto, Christmas crafts, a raffle, festive treats and plenty of lovely stalls for a little Christmas shopping. Saturday 12th December – Christmas Fayre
Join YMCA Woodlands Hub, Leavesden Country Park, College Road, Abbots Langley, WD5 0GU, for this Christmas Fayre, on Saturday 12th December from 12 noon – 3pm, and shop beautiful handmade products and unique Christmas gifts. Entry by donation, supporting YMCA Chiltern Group.

These interactive story sessions are perfect for pre-school children to enjoy with their parent/carer. Join in with a mix of picture book stories and rhymes. Friday 8th January – Baby Rhyme Time
These fun, half hour sessions of songs and rhymes are perfect for helping your child to learn language skills and are a great opportunity for you to meet other families too. Baby Rhyme Time is free although donations are welcome. No booking required. For the comfort and safety of families they may have to limit numbers so entry to a session cannot be guaranteed.
