Saturday 21st June – Celebrating 100 Years of Angling
Marking a century of angling with a fantastic community event. Fun games for all ages, a fully stocked bar, tasty BBQ available, exciting tombola, pre-loved tackle sale. Bring your friends and family for a day packed with fun, prizes, and angling memories. Do not miss out on this once-in-a-century celebration. Saturday 21st June from 11am – 5pm. Saturday 21st June – LEGO Club for Children
Join Abbots Langley Library, High Street, Abbots Langley, WD5 0AP, for fun sessions Saturdays. Places are limited so please book at the library. Session for children age 5 to 12 (under 8s must be accompanied by an adult) Every Saturday from 11am – 12 noon.

Saturday 21st June – Kings Langley Carnival

Saturday 21st June – St Lawrence Church Fete
Bring the family. Ever wanted to go up the church tower and see the bells? This is your chance. Come and enjoy the BBQ and cream teas. Have go on the coconut shy, Bouncy castle, tombola, adopt a cuddly toy as a pet, hooks duck, have a chance to win a family ticket to Harry Potter. Abbots Langley Library Meet and Compete board games session takes place in the library every Tuesday from 2pm – 3.30pm. All are welcome and if you received a new board game for Christmas and would like to bring it along to play with others than please do so. Saturday 28th June – Baby and Child First Aid Course
Got a new baby? Or about to start weaning? Come and learn essential First Aid skills at this Baby and Child First Aid course. At All Saints Church Hall, Church Lane, Kings Langley, WD4 8JS. Monday 30th June – Dementia focused Compassionate Support Hub
Come along to the dementia focused Compassionate Support Hub and see their Healthy Hub team. There will be a led chair exercise followed by a range of dementia organisations visiting to talk about the support they provide. At Henderson Hub, High Street, Abbots Langley, WD5 0AR, Last Monday of each month from 10.30am – 12.30pm.

Tuesday 1st July – Knit and Natter
Open to all, from absolute beginners to experienced knitters. Bring along all your crafts whilst enjoying a chat and a cuppa. Now 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 10am – 12 noon. At Abbots Langley Library, High Street, Abbots Langley, WD5 0AP. Free but donations welcome.

Saturday 5th July – Summer Fair
There will be lots of fun games, brilliant stalls to look around and buy from, prizes, raffles and more at this Summer fair, on Saturday 5th July from 12 noon – 3pm. At Leavesden Green JMI School, High Road, Leavesden, WD25 7QZ.

Sunday 6th July – Leavesden Asylum/Hospital
The HIVE Heritage Centre, Leavesden Country Park, College Road, Abbots Langley, WD5 0NX, will be open to the public the first Sunday of each month until September from 10am – 2pm. Drop in and see some of their new artifacts and memorabilia from the history of the Leavesden Asylum/Hospital, 1870 to 1995.

Monday 7th July – Kids Craft Club
Abbots Langley Library, High Street, Abbots Langley, WD5 0AP, will have a Kids Craft Club, on the first Monday of the month between 4pm – 5pm. Children will need to be accompanied by an adult, but they are sure the grown-ups can embrace their creativity too. This is a free club but donations would be appreciated to help cover the cost of their craft materials.

Monday 14th July – Chess Club
Abbots Langley Library, High Street, Abbots Langley, WD5 0AP, will be holding a Chess Club on the Second Monday of the month from 4pm – 5.30pm. Chess lovers of all ages can gather, play chess, and socialise with like-minded players. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, everyone is welcome to join. No bookings required. They will provide chess sets for your convenience, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

Thursday 31st July – Pop Up Cafe

Saturday 6th September – Abbots Autumn Fest
The Abbots Autumn Fest will be held on Saturday 6th September from 11am – 4pm. On School Mead, Abbots Langley WD5 0LA. A village festival celebrating its orchard heritage at the Autumn equinox to promote local food and food producers. This family festival is a fun-packed day to promote local growers, food producers, crafts and community, with an intimate atmosphere of music, fun, games, and laughter.
